When Max and Bonnie landed on Cinnabar Island both were immediately engulfed in a hug by May and Ash then led to the Aether Foundation's lounging room after they returned Wailmer and Wailord to their Primier Balls, by the time Spark, Candela and Blanche arrived it was already late in the afternoon.
"Guys these are the researchers that helped us Spark Surge, Blanche Willow and Candela Ignis" Max introduced happily
"Spark, Candela, Blanche these are our family Ash, Alain, Paul, May, Lillie and Gladion" Bonnie introduced equally as happy
"Thank you so much for helping them" May said as she shook Candela's hand
"Yeah Arceus knows what could have happened if you weren't there to help. Trouble always seems to latch on to our family" Ash said shaking Blanche's hand
"Were glad to help but we do need to tell you about something that Aria thought was important" Spark said seriously
"Of course right this way to the meeting room" Lillie said as she and Gladion led the way
"Pardon me but aren't you the Alola Champion?" Blanche asked as she looked at Ash
"Oh yes I am and I've read all your research papers on pokemon evolution it's great" Ash said as she felt Alain's arm wrap around her waist
"Oh thank you" Blanche said blushing
"Were here" Gladion said before gesturing for everyone to take a seat around the huge conference table
"I think we should start by assuming that many of you already know about the new team Judicii?" Blanche started
"Yes we do we were informed by Aria" Paul said grimly
"Good, so you know their just out right not caring if they traumatiz an innocent or kill an innocent to get what they want" Candela said her face deadly serious
"The thing is many of the evil teams are acting up again Team Rocket for example is under a new leadership since Giovanni is still in a coma" Spark said
"Prof. Birch just in formed us that Archie of team Aqua escaped prison around 3 am this morning, pair that with the fact that Maxie of team Magma also escaped a few months prior and this is just a disaster waiting to happen" May said her usual happy attitude was gone replaced by a cold and calculating attitude
"This is not good though I have to ask since Aether did unfortunately do wrong against some people will they be targeted more specifically Lusamine?" Paul asked making everyone stiffed
"We are unfortunately unaware of if that is the case" Blanche said looking at Gladion and Lillie "I would advise you to heighten security and defenses around your mother and all members that were apart of the Aether disaster, just in case"
"Right we'll get on it right away" Gladion said as he and Lillie stood up and left the room
"Blanche, Spark and Candela thank you for helping Max and Bonnie please feel free to ask us for help" Ash said smiling softly
"We'll remember that" Candela said smiling
"Just be careful I really am unsettled by this new team" Ash said resulting in Alain comforting her
"No one does because despite them not really targeting innocents, they just don't care if they kill innocents" Alain said seriously
"Every Pokémon league member: Gym Leaders, Elites, Champions and everyone else that aid in protecting everyone need to be informed at all times just to be on the safe side" Paul said
After that they discussed everything that happened in the Seafoam Cavern resulting in slightly angry and worried big sisters, an amused Paul, Blanche, Candela, Spark and Alain and flustered Bonnie and Max. That night after Ash and Alain tucked Bonnie into bed they went to their now shared room to try and hopefully sleep but Ash was too bothered by the thought of Max hearing someone being killed and Bonnie being in dangerous situations more than once, it bothered her so much that she tossed and turned in her sleep. Moments later Alain woke up only to see Ash covered in sweat, her cheeks stained in tears and her hands clenched into fists
"Ash, Ash, Ash please wake up Ash!" Alain said as he went over to her bed and trying to wake her up
"BONNIE!!, MAX!!"she screamed her face drastically paler than she usually is and she started to shake until Alain pulled her into a hug
" Hey shhh it's alright they're both alright" Alain said as he just held her tightly
"I want to see it for myself my nightmare was just so real that I-" Ash said before bursting into tears waking Pikachu and Mew up
"Trust me Ash Bonnie and Max are safe they were saved and they're just fine, you need to calm down, come on mon amore calm down" Alain whispered into her ear as Pikachu and Mew helping to comfort Ash
"Hey is everything alright I heard Ash scream?" a sleepy Bonnie asked as she walked into the room
"Yeah she just had a nightmare" Alain said as the electric type trainer made her way over to her guardian
"Ash are you alright?" Bonnie asked hugging Ash's other side
"Yeah it was just a really bad dream but I feel much better now" she said before turning in Alain's embrace to hug Bonnie and they stayed like that when they all went back to sleep
The next morning Lillie and Paul made thier way over to wake them up only to see how precious they all looked and Lillie just couldn't resist taking a picture of them
"They look like a happy family, don't they?" Lillie cooed as she took two more pictures
"They really do" Paul said before he just led Lillie out of the room
"I have a feeling that we may have to move breakfast for a few minutes" Lillie said smiling
"No problem" Paul said smirking
