After speaking with Gladion, Paul told everyone that Venasaur could be transported to the aether Foundation in Foretree or Alola where Venasaur could get all the rest he needs because of all the nature surrounding the area and using their psychic type pokemon they all packed and teleported absolutely everything in the lab and ranch and teleported to Viridian to a smaller Aether branch that dealt mainly with research and was near the gym so the new Gym Leader Silver could help them if they needed it
"Thanks for offering to protect them Silver after reading the reports about Delia Richfilth's harassment on prof. Oak we just couldn't take any chances" Paul said after he shook hand with his long time friend
"Hey you and Regie helped me when I was running away from that man who called himself my father so I kind of owe you" Silver said smirking
"If my brother heard you right now you won't hear the end of it" Paul chuckled
"........anyway May we need to get to your contest and Ash go beat Silver" they heard Bonnie say looking to wards the group they found the electric type trainer dragging a clearly frightened May and Max to the Contest Hall while Ash and Alain were trying their hardest not to laugh at them
"Interesting friends" Silver remarked smirking as Paul just shrugged
Not another hour later Ash and Silver were in the gym getting ready to call out their first pokemon
"Crobat go!" Silver said before calling out his first pokemon
"Alright then Inteleon I choose you!" Ash said as she called out her Galarian starter
"Crobat cross poison now!" Silver commanded before Crobat sent a purple x towards Inteleon
"Inteleon Protect them follow with Scald!" Ash called out before Inteleon immediately got a green shield up before sending very very hot water towards Crobat
"Crobat dogde then use Hypnosis!" Silver said and just as Crobat avoided the attack he put Inteleon to sleep
"Oh no" Ash gasped before she tried thinking of a way to awaken her pokemon
"Silver sure is a talented trainer this is the first time her Inteleon has fallen to a status condition since she evolved from a Sobble" Alain said while Paul nodded in agreement
"Well needed to be can't really blame him the first time I met he was all about power and being the best all because of his father's manipulation but now he is one of the world's strongest trainers and already bordering elite or champion level" Paul said smirking
"Yes well Ash is a champion and you know how she gets when someone could actually give her a challenge" Alain said smirking
"Go Ash! Inteleon you wake up this instant or so help me I will bury you in ketchup!" Pikachu said
"Crobat Toxic!" Silver commanded just as Inteleon woke up but she was still poisoned
"Inteleon can you still battle?" Ash asked the Agent Pokémon
"Yes I can still fight" Inteleon said as she went into a battle stance
"Alright then use Ice Beam and Dark Pulse" Ash commands before Inteleon sent two beams towards Crobat combining them mid way towards Crobat then hit him
"Crobat Air Slash!" Silver said and once Crobat got his bearings back he sent Cresent shaped air towards Inteleon
"Counter with your own Air slash!" Ash called out before Inteleon did as she was told
At this point both pokemon were badly hurt from their opponent's attacks both exhausted and hurt from both their status conditions and the several attacks that they recieved
