Back at Prof. Oak's new laboratory everyone returned all with good news especially Gladion and Lillie who had finished their work and were on their way to the lab
"You should have seen that rose eating jerk's face when May knocked out his Roserade in one hit" Bonnie said laughing at the memory
"I got a picture" May's Ribombee said holding up May's pokedex for them to watch
"Oh my gosh!" Ash said before laughing as she leaned onto Alan's shoulder to keep her up right while he chuckled
"I can't wait for Lillie and Gladion to see this" Paul said chuckling at the picture
"So how was your gym battle Ash?" Gary asked as soon as he calmed down from laughing too hard
"Great Silver was a really strong opponent" Ash said happily
"He even managed to beat her Inteleon" Paul commented smirking
"I should have known cause it's gotten significantly harder for trainers to reach the Indigo Platue since he became Viridian City Gym leader to this day only three trainers have gotten through him" Prof. Oak said before sipping his tea
"Really who?" Max asked curiously
"Oh they're trainers that helped me with my research Dinah from Foretree City, Jomer from Hammerlocke in the Galar Region and Bernie from Lavander Town. All of them kind and strong trainers that I know you'd all like" Prof. Oak said smiling before they all heard the door bell ring
"Professor? Is anyone home?" Lillie's familiar voice rang out making Paul stand and walk over to open the door
"Glad you could make it" Paul said as he led them to the others
"So what's the big news you needed to tell us?" Bonnie asked from her spot on the floor
"Well we wanted to ask you if you'd like to go back to Galar with us since you still have a month before the league Ash" Gladion said before handing her, May, Paul and Alain letters "These are letters from a children's hospital in Turffield"
"Wow that's amazing wait how did they know about them?" Bonnie asked
"Well it seems that our friend Hop has been showing them you performances during the Alola, Kalos and the last Sinnoh league as well as May's contest performances it definitely gave those kids humble role models" Gladion said smirking
"I think we should go" Max said excitedly "You guys have to"
"I agree with Max you guys can help those kids out" Bonnie chimed in happily
"Well talk about it by tonight we'll probably have our answer" Paul said before all four of them went outside to talk and read their letters
"Wow these kids have sure do like watching our battles" Ash said as she sat in the grass using Alain's for support once he sat behind her
"I would imagine we've participated in a few and Dynamaxing is a treat to witness but for them Mega Evolution and Z moves are fascinating" Paul said before fingerling his key stone
"May when is the Grand Festival?" Alain asked smiling at the Charizard drawing on the right side of his letter
"A week before the league same venue" May said as she kept looking at a hand made contest ribbon below the letter
"I think we should go I mean we have nothing to lose from this" Ash said before everyone nodded
After telling everyone their decision Ash and Alain told their Pokémon that were going to stay to help out the professor and listen to him while May and Paul did the same. Three days later they were on the Aether private jet on their way to Galar
"Luckily we have a house in Postwick now so we don't have to stay in a hotel" Lillie said as she brushed Snowy her Alolan Ninetails
"Five minutes till descent young masters and mistresses" the pilot said signaling that it would be too long now
"Here we are" Lillie said as she stood up and walked out of the jet
"Wow this is a huge house" Bonnie commented in awe
"Well mother was the one who bought it" Gladion said chuckling
"Come on the rooms are already set up" Lillie said smiling "Ash and Alain you have the bigger guest room on the east wing Bonnie you have the room right across the hall, May, Paul and Max you have the guest rooms on the west wing"
Once everyone was settled in their room Ash, May and Lillie started on dinner while Bonnie and Max cleaned the Pokémon and the boys set the table. Once dinner was done everyone went to their rooms to sllep off the trip
"It feels so good to get away from everything for a bit" Ash said as she cuddled closer to Alain
"I imagine that it would be" Alain chuckled before he kissed her brow
"I can't wait to meet those kids do you think that they would want want to see our Pokemon?" Ash asked looking at Pikachu who was sleeping
"No doubt about it" Alain said smiling at her "Let's get to sleep we have to get to the children's hospital by 8"
"Night Alain" Ash said before kissing her boyfriend's cheek then closing her eyes
"Good night Mon Amore" Alain said before he kissed her forehead
In the morning everyone piled into the car that chairman Rose had prepared for them for their visit
"It truly is an honor to have you back in our humble region" Chairman Rose said as they all rode towards the hospital
"The pleasure is ours" Ash said as she petted Pikachu
"Yeah the letters those children sent were really sweet" May said smiling as she placed the hand made ribbon in her ribbon case for safe keeping
"We were all too happy to come back" Paul said before the car stopped
"Ah here we are" Chairman Rose said before he led everyone inside where the children were all waiting
