After we put on our wizard robes, we came out of Hogwarts Express and heard a rather massive gentleman with a long black beard and hair of the same colour and length, looking nice and jolly announcing: "The first few years, this way please!"
So the five of us went over to him.
We arrived in front of boats, each of which could hold four people at the most. William and Snow got into the boat with a girl with long red hair, beautifully wavy at the tips, and emerald green eyes, while James, Sirius and I got into the boat with a rather small blond boy with very light irises named Peter. He seems very nice.
Where the trip was rather quiet for most of the students, ours was rather eventful, literally and figuratively.
Indeed James and Sirius almost capsized the boat by leaning both on the same side to check if there was not a sea monster in the lake according to the rumours. Luckily Peter and I managed to balance the boat out by a small margin.
Then everything turned out to be calm for the rest of the trip. James and Sirius having seen the castle, I think they were too busy thinking about their future assignment in one of the four houses.
"Now you're going to be distributed to the different houses at Hogwarts. Your house will be a bit like your second family. At the end of the year we will award the cup to the house with the most points. Points will be earned on your achievements, and lost if you break the rules. There are four houses, which are named Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin.
