OMG you guys, hey! It's been a while.
I have terrible news. My laptop charger is broken, so that's why I haven't been able to update. I can't go out and get a new charger because we are STILL in lockdown. I managed to find an angle for my laptop to charge at, but who knows how long I'll have this battery life.
So I apologize for slow updates and also I hope I can get as much updates out as I can.
Also I highkey started crushing on Mikey, but don't worry, I won't let it affect this book lmao. Just thought you guys should know.

"No, no, no!" I'm practically leaping towards Donnie and shaking his shoulder. "Do something, Donnie! Do it now!"
Donnie effortlessly shakes his arm out of my grip and turns to walk towards his lab, not before saying a very irritated: "I'm trying."
"What are you gonna do?" Mikey bounces after him, leaving me with Casey, Leo and the ninja whose groans have subdued to heavy breathing.
I want to turn to him and tell him to shut up, but a familiar face grabs my attention. I run towards Violet, completely disregarding Gin, Vern and the other girl who's with them. I envelope my best friend in the tightest hug I've ever given anyone.
"I missed you too." she pouts, returning the hug. When we hug, I feel like I release all the pent-up stress and worry. There truly is no relationship greater than friendship, is there? "You okay?"
"I'll be okay when we find Raph." I pull away from her and turn to Gin, who's smiling reassuringly at me.
"You're an undercover delinquent, aren't you?" Gin asks with her brows raised in amusement. "Running from the cops, Emma? Wow, well done to you. I could never do that."
"That's because you're a golden girl with a stick up your-" Violet starts to say, but Vern steps in quickly, clapping his hands together once loudly.
"Okaaay." he stretches out the word, but that doesn't stop Gin from glaring at Violet who just playfully sticks out her tongue. "Emma, this is April. April, Emma."
"Nice to meet you." I smile at her, though it doesn't reach my eyes.
"You too. Vern doesn't stop talking about you." She smiles a million dollar smile.
I want to tease Vern for being soft and mushy, but Donnie returns from his lab, followed by Mikey. He places his tracker down on the counter, looks at Leo and Casey and nods once.
"We got his co-ordinates before they could remove his tracker. Let's go." he's already making his way towards the back. Casey, Leo and Mikey want to follow after him, but I step forward.
"Excuse me, what about us?" I ask, gesturing to me, Vern, Gin, Violet and April.
Casey smirks condescendingly. "You're right. O'Niel, you're with me."
April mouths a quick, unapologetic 'sorry' before walking towards Casey. "Let's catch these bastards." I hate to admit how badass she sounds when she says this.
"What about us? We wanna catch bastards too!" Violet rolls her eyes and Leo lets out a deep sigh.
"Violet, is it?" he asks, and Violet responds by folding her arms across her chest. "We can't risk putting you guys in danger."
"News flash, we're in danger regardless." Violet steps forward, unshaken. "I just got questioned by the cops! And for once it's not because of something I did." Gin spares her a stern look which she ignores. "Just let us tag along, you won't even know we're there."
