Stiles, Scott, Allison, and Sadie entered an empty room after class to discuss their course of action.

"Derek is outside waiting for Lydia."

"It's not her!" Stiles protested.

"Stiles, she didn't pass the test," Scott said softly.

"It doesn't matter if it's not her because Derek thinks it is." Sadie said as she tried to stay calm about the whole situation.

Allison agreed with Sadie and said, "Sadie's right. We either need to convince Derek it isn't her or find a way to protect her."

"He won't do anything here. Not at the school."

"Well, what about after school?"

They all sighed in frustration and Sadie put her head in her hands.

"So we convince him it isn't Lydia. There has to be something we can use from the bestiary right?"

They all looked at Sadie.

"I have the all the translations at home."

"Okay good. I can talk to a Derek and see if he will give us time to prove to him that it's not her. If anything happens I want all of you to promise to let me handle it," Scott said.

Allison looked confused and said, "What does that mean?"

"None of you can heal like I do."

Sadie rolled her eyes and Allison did the same as she reached into her bag and pulled out a crossbow.

"I can take care of myself."

Scott stared at Allison in disbelief as she held up the weapon she just pulled out of her bag. The look on his face changed from surprise to worry, like he was hiding something. Sadie wondered if it had anything to do with his encounter with Gerard the other day. She wasn't able to hear what he said to Scott, but it had to have been something regarding Allison.

"What?" Allison questioned.

"I just don't want any of you getting hurt."

He said it addressing everyone but his eyes were glued on Allison's. They were having a moment and Sadie suddenly felt like she was witnessing something she wasn't supposed to be apart of.

"We have until three. Sadie and Allison, go to Sadie's apartment and find the translations."

Suddenly an arrow shot through the air and was heading straight for Sadie's face. She let out a small scream and shut her eyes but nothing happened. She slowly opened up one eye to peek and saw Scott's hand in front of her face holding the arrow. She let out a breath she didn't realize she was holding and started to calm down.

"Um and take Stiles with you."

"What! No, I can do it on my own."

The three of them looked confused as to why she cared so much if Stiles and Allison accompanied her.

Scott protested and said, "No one goes anywhere alone."

Sadie knew he wasn't going to change his mind so she reluctantly agreed to his condition. Her, Stiles and Allison left the room shortly after and headed for Stiles's jeep.

Back at Sadie's apartment they followed her into the room she set up for magic. Sadie made sure to lead him straight there and not take any detours in the apartment. As they entered the room there was a shelf filled with old grimoires on one side and another shelf on the other side dedicated to different herbs and liquids. She noticed Stiles studying the entire room in awe and he then reached out to touch something.
