Friendly Reminder (an avengers fan fiction)

Bucky and Jolene—

After Jolene had gotten back she said hello to everyone and gave hugs to her mates. After everything calmed down from their arrival Jolene met up with Bucky in his room.

"So Doll I made plans for us to night, Pack a dress" he smiled and kissed her cheek

"Will you tell me where we're going?" She asked playing with his hair

"Nope" he laughed
She pouted

" please- please pretty please!" She said giggling

" No Doll you'll find out when we get there" he put his hand on the small of her back and walked with her to her room.

-30 Minutes Later-

She had her bag and was wearing a poke-a-dot halter dress she had put on make up simple brown eyeshadow making her doe eyes shine. With red lips she looked like a 50's dream. Her hair was Wavy as it is so it was left the same. She had tried to look like a girl from his Era.

"Damn" Bucky spoke under his breath

Jolene blushed scrunching her shoulders in to giggle
"Do you like it?" She patted the dress with her white gloved hands

" Yes you look Freaking Amazing" he put his hand on her cheek and kissed her, pulling her short body closer to him. He dipped her. Her arms stayed wrapped around his neck as he held her waist she smiled into the kiss.

" you make me feel like I'm 18 again"
She laughed and patted his cheek with her hand

" I love you"

" I love you too"

" we should go Doll before it closes" he smiled and walked her down to his car or well Tony's it was a red convertible with black seats. He opened her door before driving them to a teal building with retro ascents.
" oh I love it!" She said getting out of the convertible

He smiled looking at her joy

They walk in and sit down

"Welcome to retro's! What would you like to drink?"

"A strawberry shake please" she spoke

" waters fine" Bucky said

The waiter walked away and Bucky spoke

" how are you liking our date Doll?"

"Oh your so sweet and it's nice seeing this, I've always loved the 50's"  she giggled

She set her hand on top of his

" I love you Bucky and I know it must be hard to share me but if you need anything I'll always help you" she smiled

"It is a little.. different but I'll always be here for you as-well"

Their drinks came and they left after dinner for a club this club as not as vintage as the rest of there night as they pulled up Jolene spoke.

"Should I change into a different dress?

"Actually yes but I brought you one"

He pulled out a black box with a gold ribbon and set it on her lap

"Aww you didn't have too that sweet Bucky " she kissed his cheek and opened the box inside was a red strapless dress with a flat line top that was covered in tule (like Ariana grandes 2020 Grammy dress but shorter like knee length and red )

" I LOVE It!" She hugged him

" I'll head to the coffee shop next door and get changed" he nodded and smiled to her she hopped out and walked to the Starbucks she bought a water and went to the bathroom throwing on the dress.
