PART SEVEN

Him coming back was only the first step...

"He doesn't know us, " Garnet said.

"What?" Greg asked, backing away from Steven, who stood there confused.

He looks really lost, like he didnt know where he was.

"Steven? Do you know who we are?" Amethyst asked.

"No! But how do you know my name?!" He seemed excited but also surprised.

"Huh... Maybe if we show him the house and van he'll remember?" Garnet said.

"Let's try it!" Greg said. Pearl walked in and looked at Steven.

"S-Steven?!" She ran up to him. He moved though.

"How do you people know my name?! And where am I?!" He yelled.

"What? Steven, it's us! The Crystal Gems, your dad?!" Pearl said.

"Pearl, he doesn't remember," Garnet said, putting a hand on her shoulder.

"But why?!" She asked, upset over the fact.

"Maybe it's because of the rejuvenator?" Amethyst said.

"Bismuth did say that it reset gem...maybe after being poofed Stevens memory was wiped, " Garnet pondered.

STEVEN POV

I was standing in a room with complete strangers! What was this place?! Where was mom? I was just with her! And they know my name?! I have to figure out where I am...

"Why am I here?" Is asked. The pale lady looked at me with tears in her eyes. Did I say something wrong?

"Steven, you're home..." she said.

This didn't feel like home...wait...where was home, to begin with?

"Pearl, he doesn't know that." The tallest lady said. She reminded me of a square.

So the pale lady's name is Pearl, noted.

"Can we make him remember?" Pearl asked sadly.

"Maybe... let's show him around." The tall lady said.

"Garnet, what if it doesn't work?" A short and purple lady asked.

"We'll just keep trying, Amethyst," the tall lady said.

So, their names are Pearl, Garnet and Amethyst. Noted.

We walked around the house. They showed me a room that had posters and a bed in it. It felt...oddly familiar. But I didn't think too much about it. They told me it was 'my' room. Though, I highly doubt it!

Next, they showed me the warp pad. Of course, I knew what it was, I used it They seemed surprised. Why? That's a simple thing.

"Steven, do you remember how you learned to do that?" Garnet asked me.

I don't, now that I think about it. It's just something I know...

"No, why?" I asked back.

They all sighed. Did I say something wrong?

They showed me to the kitchen. They made some pancakes and put...popcorn on it? Why in the world would someone put popcorn on pancakes?!

"Together breakfast?" Amethyst asked, holding the plate to my face.

I just looked at her like she was crazy. Maybe they are...

They dragged me out of the house to a van..that also felt oddly familiar. It was weird how a lot of these things felt like I'd been there before...but I've never seen this in my life!

They all seemed defeated. Then Garnet stood up.

"He has to live through his memories.." She said

"What?" I asked. What did they mean? What memories?

"Like...fighting and learning his powers?" Pearl asked, curious.

"Exactly," Garnet said smiling.

"And I think I have the perfect idea. We're going to need Spinel though."
