Joelle's POV

I laugh as my dad jumps in the pool.

" My hair!! " Renee yells complaining because she didn't want to get her hair wet.

" Oh you're fine " Jon laughs.

She scoffs and flips my dad off.

My dad laughs and swims to her.
She's just sitting at the edge putting her feet in.

My dad picks her up and she screams and kicks making us all laugh.

" JON!! " she screams for Jon.

" JOE PUT ME DOWN!! "

Colby looks at Nick who comes out the house to see what's happening.

" What the hell are you screaming for? " he ask shoving his bagel in his mouth.

" YOUR FUCKING BESTIE WON'T PUT ME DOWN! " she screams to him.

He laughs and walks back in the house.

My dad goes back to where Renee was sitting and puts her down.

" That was great " he says laughing.

She hits his shoulder with her foot.

" Fuck! " I hear Nick curse.

I look at everyone to see if they noticed.

They didn't.
I shrug it off until I hear him curse again.

" Dad " I say looking at my dad.

" Yeah? " he ask.

" Nick's doing something he's not supposed to " I tell him.

He looks at the house.

" NICK! " he yells seeing if Nick will come out here.

" Yes? " Nick ask.

" Come here "

He comes out with a towel around his arm.

" What'd you do? " Colby ask.

" I was trying to cut a kiwi and I don't know how and I was using a large ass machete knife and well it didn't work well " Nick explains to us.

My dad hops out of the pool and walks up to Nick but Nick backs up.

" I'm not going to fucking hit you I wanna see it " my dad tells him.

Nick lifts the towel but I can't see it from where I'm at.

" Oo that's a lot of blood " my dad cringes.

" Let me see " Renee says getting up and going over to them.

" Holy shit! " she says shocked.

Jon then walks over to see it.

It must be bad then because my dad is never schemes over blood.
