Yuzuru Otonashi, a boy with amnesia ends up in the afterlife where they must overcome their unfinished challenges before moving on to the final destination.
Review:
This is one of those anime that you'll never know the content of by just the title and poster. Their concept of the afterlife was very unexpected, they made it into an isekai MMORPG version where they even get to eliminate bot characters. It took me a while to notice that each of them are slowly disappearing from the afterlife after they graduated. That plot twist at the end really got me crying a river. Like I finally got attached to them and they suddenly leave Otonashi all alone in that world?!
I suggest you see this for yourself. Its got good drama and music.

Otonashi. This dude has the saddest back story and situation of the bunch.

Yui. At first I only took interest on her because she was famous for her "Yui-nyan" catchphrase but I fell in love with her character more when I saw her back story. She'll remain in my mind for being so determined in mastering the suplex.
