The train stopped as I shut my book. I looked over at the window to see Ron passed out, leaning against the wall. I smirked, getting up.

"Well, here we are. Our last year at Hogwarts." I sighed, reaching for my case. Hermione nodded.

"The years from now on will just be plain out boring." She added. I paused. She was right. I wouldn't have anything to do. I haven't even found out what I wanted to do yet.

"Oh Merlin..." I whispered to myself. Harry seemed to take notice, standing up.

"What's that, Y/n?" He asked, reaching for Hedwig's cage, and his case. I shook my head, reaching out for Sonata. She leapt into my arms.

"Nothing, just... Don't know what to do when I graduate." I remarked. Hermione's eyes narrowed.

"How do you not know?" She asked in disbelief.

"I haven't put much thought into it. Maybe I'll just work at my father's business. He makes enough money to support everyone." I suggested. Hermione scoffed.

"A saleswizard? I expected more, but alright." She shrugged. I sighed.

"Maybe a mediwitch?" I suggested. They got silent.

"Wha- wait huh?" Ron quickly woke up, looking around and adjusting his seating.

"Seriously? What's wrong with being mediwitch?" I asked. Sonata squirmed in my arm. I struggled to keep her in.

"It's just that... I don't know, it doesn't fit you." Hermione tilted her head.

"Maybe. I don't know, I'm still thinking." I lifted up my pointer finger. "But if nothing pops up, I'm becoming a mediwitch."

I left the small room into the trains tight halls. As I walked, I looked outside the window. Finally at Hogwarts. And for the last time.

Something forced me into the person in front of me, causing me to grunt out in collision.

"Whoops, you better watch it, L/n!"

Malfoy.

I rolled my eyes, looking back at him.

"Shut up and do something right for once instead of pushing me around!" I hissed back, regaining my balance. Sonata quickly squirmed out of my arms, catching herself as she hit the floor.

"Sonata, over here!" I snapped my fingers, crouching onto the floor.

"Move it!" The person behind me said, pushing me lightly. I rolled my eyes, making my way off the train and onto the platform.

I entered the school, Sonata weaving through the students and making her way up in front of me. Ron pushed through a few people to get to me, letting out a few grunts from being pushed around.

"Where in the bloody hell is Harry and Hermione?" He asked, sighing. I scanned the crowd around us as we were pushed into Hogwarts.

"Do I look like I know?!" I replied, grabbing Sonata. "Gods, this cat's going to be the death of me..."

"I can carry your luggage for you." Ron insisted. I smiled, handing it over to him. He's always happy to help me, and that's probably why we're close friends.

"First years, follow me!" We turned out heads to see professor McGonagall calling out to the crowd, as some first years rushed over to her. I tilted my head.

"I wish we were first years again." I watched as the new students looked around in excitement. Ron raised a brow.

"Seriously? First year is so boring, I nearly fell asleep in every class!" He exclaimed. I nudged him lightly.

"Alright, go off to your girlfriend." I teased, pushing him off towards the direction I spotted Hermione and Harry walking from.

He ran off, leaving me behind. Sonata meowed, looking up at me.

"I know, Sonata. Let's just hope he doesn't forget that he has my luggage with him."

An hour passed and I finally made it to my dormitory. Hermione was set up in the bed beside me, reading a book. She looked up from it and gave me a warm smile as I let Sonata jump onto the bed.

I frowned as I looked at my bed. It was empty, except for the blanket and pillow.
No suitcase in sight.

"Er, Hermione, did Ron drop off the suitcase yet?" I asked. She shook her head.

"No, he's at the dining hall last time I checked." She replied. A feeling of annoyance flooded my body. Great. Now I had to walk all the way downstairs all those steps just to retrieve my luggage.

"That dunderhead..." I muttered. "Just look over Sonata while I'm gone. I'll be back as soon as I can."

I ran out of the room and rushed down the steps, nearly slipping many times.

I dodged people and left behind items that were set down in random places.

I finally got to the dining hall, but to my surprise, it was empty. The tables were unoccupied, the plates were set out, but nothing accompanied them.

"Where is that newt brain..." I whispered to myself.

"Excuse me, Ms. L/n?" I froze as the familiar monotoned voice bellowed out from behind me. I slowly turned around to see, of course,

Professor Snape.

"Oh, professor." I took a step back in surprise, starting to fumble around with my hands nervously. He towered over me, his robe covering his arms, making him look like a shadow.

"You shouldn't be in the dining hall when it is not necessary to." He stated. I slowly nodded understandingly, starting to walk off. I passed Snape and quickly made my way out, my cheeks burning like a house fire.

It seems as the first year feelings came back for a last 'hoorah'. I shook the blushing feeling off.

"Hey, Y/n!" I stopped in my tracks, pivoting around to see Ron shuffling as fast as he could over with mt luggage in hand.
I relaxed, putting my hands on my waist.

"About time, idiot." I held out my hand as he handed it over, scratching the back of his neck. His eyes narrowed as he looked at my face.

"What's wrong with you? Get slapped across the face or something?" Ron asked. I took a step back, gasping.

"N-no! It's none of your bloody business!"

I walked off, brushing past him in shock.

Why do I even bother with him...

Probably because my mother would kill me if I were to ignore him. She would probably send aunt Molly to hunt me down.

I guess I'll just bury my face into a book until dinner.
