Chapter 37

"..." Wu Yanfu covered up the odd state below his abdomen with one hand and used the other to grab Bai Tan's hand that tried to reach over to check his meridian. His brain was already swollen and at an extremely unbearable stage, he spat out a word with great difficulty, "Scram."

Once the word left his mouth, Bai Tan's face changed. As if those old wounds of the past that had been hidden in his heart for years, were forcefully scraped open by someone else, he suddenly felt a sharp, unbearable pain. He raised his hand, wanting to slap Wu Yanfu, "Someone like you dare to tell me* to scram?"

Before the last word's sound had even disappeared, his other hand was also caught tightly by Wu Yanfu. The palm of his hand flitted past the other's cheek, then it passed by his brow, the bridge of his nose, and stopped at his lips for a moment; almost as if he wanted to kiss him. But right in the next instant, it was snatched away immediately.

Bai Tan struggled loose of his hands, and took a step back, Wu Yanfu stood up and quickly turned his back to him.

It was almost like that year, there was just a one-step distance between the master and discipline, yet they seemed to be worlds apart.

Seeing the other had the intention of escaping again, Bai Tan leaped up and chased after. The desire to fight burned inside of him, just wanting to fight with this person satisfyingly. So, he went and used "Zhu Tian Hua Mo Zhang" to attack his back. Wu Yanfu twirled his body to dodge it, his elbow blocked off the other's arm skillfully. Then he reached out his hand and faked a gesture to grab the other's Tangling Cover(1).

Seeing him using a killing move, Bai Tan was frightened for a moment, but he didn't want to show any weakness, so he used all his power in one palm to welcome it. As the two's palms crashed into each other, he felt that the other hadn't used any neili at all. So that hit was like striking a stone with an egg, then all he saw was the white-haired male being slammed down many feet away, by him. He crashed into one of the pillars of the stone temple, the stone pillar instantly broke into pieces. One corner of the stone temple fell instantly, and actually fell onto the male below, pinning him down harshly.

Bai Tan was shocked and had just realized that this person didn't want to hurt him at all, so he quickly raced over and broke the pieces of rocks away with his hands. He found the male below with fresh blood all over the upper half of his body, as the lower part of his body was still under half of the stone pillar, he hit it with one palm. Demolishing the pillar that was as thick as a person, and bent over to lift the other by his neck.

"Hey, how are you?"

"..." Wu Yanfu kept his eyes closed, not wanting to reply.

Bai Tan reached out a hand to check his nose for breathing, the tip of his finger unintentionally flitted passed his lips.

"..." Wu Yanfu held his breath.

The little one still hadn't left...might as well let him think he was dead.

Bai Tan was greatly shocked, and held the other's wrist, going to check his meridian.

Wu Yanfu stopped the blood flow inside himself, making it unable to move at all.

Bai Tan remained stunned for a bit, then bent down with an undying will, he strongly endured the desire to lick his blood and placed his ear up against Wu Yanfu's heart. His soft and thin strands of hair fluttered past the other's chin and it lit up a tickling sensation that burned his heart and melted his bones.

"Thump, thump, thump, thump..."

Wu Yanfu's heart beat crazily fast and chaotic.

Bai Tan exhaled, and furrowed his brows as he looked at the person's face, he reached out a hand to raise his eyelid. Then his wrist was grabbed harshly, the man's tightly shut blue eyes suddenly opened, he stared at him coldly with quick and uneven breathing, "You're still not leaving?"
