As I started to pick out an outfit for tonight's date; I started to get a butterfly feeling in my stomach. Every outfit I had picked out just didn't feel right with me; then suddenly I went to the back of my closet. I found a solid black t-shirt and a khaki jacket to go over it; which was a perfect outfit choice for tonight.

As I was fixing my hair in the bathroom; I started to get really nervous about tonight I wanted tonight to be perfect for Caitlin. As I finished getting ready; I was about to walk downstairs to the kitchen. But I had to look in the mirror one last time to make sure I looked good! Then I walked downstairs to my surprise both of my parents were giving me a strange look as I came down into the kitchen. "Hi, to you too!" I said while raising an eyebrow at them both
"Hey, Barry going anywhere special?" Mom asked with a soft smile
"Um- yeah actually... I have a date tonight!" I said with a blushing smile
"That's great Slugger!" Dad said while patting me on the back
"You deserve to find love for all the good you do!" Mom said with a kind smile
"Thanks, Mom," I said with a soft smile
Mom went over to Dad to give him a side hug while locking eyes with Dad; at that moment I hoped for the love that they had. I smiled at them both; "I love you guys so much!"
"We love you too my beautiful boy," Mom said with a content smile
"Well, I should get going I don't want to be late for my date," I said with a bright smile
"Good luck, Slugger," Dad said as I walked out of the door

As I started to get ready for my date with a guy that I've been crushing on since the day that I laid my eyes on his. I started to get nervous; I haven't been on a date since Ronnie died. (Ronnie died in a car accident; since there was no particle accelerator explosion) I wanted tonight to be perfect so I took extra long to get ready!
