Stirring her body, the soft, unfamiliar fabric gliding around her skin makes her flutter her eyes open slowly. Honey rays of sunshine pours inside the unknown room, and Chi-Sun widens her eyes for a short second as she glance down her body.Wrapped in a cream duvet, the fabric in the smoothest fine silk she's placed neatly on a huge bed in a unknown room. Glancing underneath the cover she's relieved to see that she's still wearing the undergarment from her angel-gown. Sitting up in a fast movement, so fast her head starts to ache, she runs a stressed hand through her hair.
Where am I? What happened? Where's Darcie?
Chi-Sun blinks towards the sun, watching as the shimmering rays caused by dawn runs across the clouds, golden paths from here and until the horizon.
A sudden noise comes from what she assumes is the bathroom and all muscles tense in her body, making her stand up, barefoot in the room. Tiptoeing across the wooden floor, Chi-Sun gather her remaining of her gown. Her entire body aches, her knees are filled with cuts and scrapes from the pavement she was sprawled across last night, when. . . she saw her mother.
Swallowing thickly Chi-Sun feel the lump in her throat as she thinks back at the information she had received, how her mother had been devastated, investigating her case on her own, sleepless nights. . .
Breathing out wearily, she feels her legs go weak once more as she glides down at the end of the huge bed, feeling the cool wood on her bottom as she sits down, her head in her hands.Noticing the door to the bathroom creaking open slightly, Chi-Sun doesn't even lift her head to glance at the company. Shuffling across the floor, the person goes to a cabinet and pull out a drawer casually.
"You're awake."
The familiar voice brings Chi-Sun out of her state of ache, her ears peaking up at the soft tone. Looking up slowly, Jin stands tall in the room, fresh out the shower. His black strands of hair are still damp, upper body naked while a pair of black linen trousers frame his lower body. Watching him like this makes a blush creep up her neck, her gaze setting straight instead of at the handsome black angel.
"How are you feeling?" Jin continue, now moving his way to Chi-Sun, plopping down next to her on the floor.
As he sits, the small pearls of water that still trails down his firm chest comes into view making Chi-Sun's breath stagger. Composing herself she tilts her head a little, a small tight-lipped smile on her lips as she feels the tears start to prickle in the corner of her eyes.
"I'm broken, Jin."
An expression of pain rushes over Jin's features for a swift second, the urge to comfort the younger angel evident in the prickle of his fingers. Furrowing his eyebrows slightly he meets her eyes seriously.
