Mr Khanna: Ms Stevens, guess you know why you
                        here.

Me: yes sir. Bu.......

Mr khanna: give me the notes you took down during
                       the meeting.

I was not expecting to be asked that, after what happened. I stood there, starring at him. Cause maybe at that moment I was stuck between two things, is he joking or is he serious? So I just kept starring at him.

Mr Khanna: is anything wrong ms Stevens ?

Me: ( stammering) no sir

Mr Khanna: then can I have what I asked Ms Stevens

I was about to walk out of his office when he stopped me midway.

Mr Khanna: WAIT!!!

okay this is the tone I was waiting to hear, the end is near. I closed my eyes, and slowly turned. Mr khanna got up from his chair, and started walking to wards me , and while I was doing that I kept walking backwards. His eyes were fixed on me and I was looking at everything else except his eyes, I couldn't meet his gaze. He kept moving forward, I kept moving backwards. Until my back was against the wall, and I had no way to go. I looked around I was stuck and he had cornered me to the wall, at that moment I met his eyes, his cologne hit my nostrils and at that brief I just kept looking at him and he did too. I felt like everything became still for a moment.this was sort of like a staring competition. He moved his face, closer and I could feel his breath on my eyes. My heart started moving fast. I was scared and enjoying everything at the same time

He dangerously lowered his voice. This close proximity was dangerously doing something to me. His eyes fascinated me. There was something about them, I couldn't quite put my hands on it.

Mr Khanna:(in a dangerous low voice) Ms Stevens
i hate it when one talks back at me, so
for that, I have a punishment for you,
One that I think you will enjoy so
much.

Me: I only talk back, when words used are revolting.

Mr Khanna: uhmmm, so much hate.

Me: hate is a strong word Mr khanna, he didn't
deserve those words he got, he didn't quite
Clean your office to meet your standards, am
Guessing that's why you were so worked up. If
It didn't meet your requirements, why not just
Clean your office yourself.

Mr Khanna: am quite impressed ms Stevens,
I just doubled your punishment.

My God , he didn't have to double it, I was just trying to explain why I talked back at him. I want to badly apologize but I can't that old man didn't deserve that. Mr khanna moves away from me and points at the stack of papers on his small desk
