I sent Emily home to go take a shower, I told her I will watch over our aunt while she's away, after sending a message to my boss, telling him why I will not show up to work tomorrow. I sat on the waiting chairs, I just wanted to let down my tears, I was hurt and I didn't know how to solve the hospital bill but at the same time I wanted my aunt to be fine, to be free from all this. As I sat there, tears started falling on their own. Stress caused the heartattack, home is toxic, the whole situation with Emily, I have failed my own aunt. She did everything for me, but I can't even take care of her, the way she did when I was still a baby.

Voice:  Coffee??

Me: ( looking up) Mr Khanna what are you doing
          here??

Mr Khanna: please call me shaurya.

Me: oh, well Shaurya what are you doing here?

Mr Khanna: got your message, sounded distressed.
                        so I came to keep you company.

Me:( wiping my tears) No sir, well am not

Mr Khanna: well Ms Stevens, you don't look fine
                       to me.

Me: if am going to call you Shaurya, then you can
         Also call me Rinah.

Mr Khanna: well Rinah, do you want coffee?

Me: no thank you, but what are you doing here?
         you should be at home right now, you
         shouldn't be around poor people, you know
         you are allergic to them.

Shaurya: well, Rinah, this is a private hospital, am
                 Guessing you ain't poor, cause you would
                  Be in a public hospital right now.

Me: judgy are we? Am only here cause my sister
       Brought my aunt here, wouldn't be here if it
       Wasn't for her. How did you find me?

Shaurya: I have my ways Rinah. Is that the hospital
                 Bill? ( pointing at a piece of paper next to
                  me)

Me: shaurya or Mr Khanna this is none of your
        Business.

Shaurya: why ain't it signed yet? Seems you haven't
                  Done the payment yet.

Me:  this is not the right time Mr Khanna, please
        Leave me alone ( tears drop from my eyes )
         I will pay tomorrow, it's too late to make the
        Payment Mr Khanna, I will pay tomorrow first
         thing in the morning.

" shaurya getting up"

Shaurya: am sorry Rinah.

Did shaurya Khanna just apologize to me? I was taken aback with this.

Me: why are you apologizing Mr Khanna?

Shaurya: I overheard your conversation with your
friend. Am sorry you are going through
this, you are just 24.

Me: uhh 😬, I don't know what to say to that.

Shaurya: I know, am just telling you.

After that Shaurya khanna left me standing in the hospital hallway, I couldn't believe he heard everything, I wasn't expecting thee shaurya Khanna to come see me, even apologize to me, this was new.

Me: aunt I promise you, you are going to be fine

Aunt: I have lived my days in this world, got my fair
share of the good and bad things in this world.
I want to rest.
