Kelso's Serenade

I had been roughly a week since I had accidentally snitched on Kelso to Jackie. I didn't regret what I did, although I definitely felt guilty. Jackie still hung around sometimes.

Kelso and Fez were both enamoured with her but Jackie had taken a different romantic interest.

Steven.

I wasn't sure if it was because he was so different than Kelso or if it was because he is my boyfriend. I try to not let it get to me. Jealousy is ugly, and I trust Steven no matter what. I don't, however, trust Jackie.

Currently, Steven and I were making out on his bed in the basement. Dad was at work, Eric was out with Donna, Mom was out shopping, and we had the house to ourselves.

Steven put his hands on my lower back and I hovered over him, kissing his neck.

He sighs happily and I bring myself back up to kiss him. As we break for breath the phone began ringing upstairs.

I groan and sit up, straddling his lap.

"Just ignore it!" he begs.

I shake my head and adjust my shirt, sliding off of his lap.

"It could be mom or dad, and the last thing we need is to explain why neither of us were able to get the phone."

Steven sighs and fixes his shirt and pants, standing to follow me.

"Foreman residence," I say, picking up the phone.

I pause for a moment listening to some lunatic rambling.

"I'm sorry who is this?"

"It's Kelso! I need your help winning Jackie back!" he begs over the phone.

"Ask Donna, Jackie is pissed at me right now." I respond.

"Donna won't help me!" he complains.

"Good!" I reply.

I hang up the phone and shake my head.

"I can't believe Kelso is still ruining my day, he's not even here!" I exclaim.

Steven laughs and pulls me close, leaning down to kiss me.

"Hey, kids!" mom says, plopping down some groceries.

We quickly jump apart.

"Hi, mom!" I respond.

"Hey, Mrs Foreman," Steven nods.

There's an awkward silence for a moment.

"Well I'm going to go do some homework," Steven says.

"Oh do it in the kitchen, Y/n can help you with it!" mom insists.

I nod hesitantly, "Yep! I'll go get my stuff."

Steven goes down stairs to retrieve is work and I go upstairs to get my own.

We sit awkwardly down at the table and start to work while mom puts away groceries.
