Part 1

Roman Torchwick and four of his henchmen walk down a dimly lit alleyway. They all stop as Roman whos leading the group relights his cigar. They leave the alleyway and begin walking down a street. Civilians nearby cower and back away as the group walks down the street towards a shop called, From Dust Till Dawn. The group of thieves enters the store while a certain Red-Hooded girl is unaware of the situation inside of the store. Roman speaks to the cashier

Roman: Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a dust shop open this late?

A henchman points his gun at the cashier

Cashier: Please just take my Lien and leave.

Roman: Shh. Shh. Calm down. We're not here for your money. *He looks to henchmen* Grab the dust.

The henchmen start to retrieve as much dust as they can, while a different henchman goes to the cashier.

Henchman: Crystals, burned uncut

The cashier loads the box with dust crystals while a different henchman noticed another person inside of the store, a certain Red-Hooded Girl. He draws his weapon.

Henchman 4: Alright kid put your hands where I can see 'em (The girl doesn't respond) Hey! I said hands in the air!

He walks over to the girl grabbing her shoulder

Henchman 4: You got a death wish or somethin?

The girls hood falls revealing a confused Ruby Rose. He motions for her to take off the headphones. She does.

Ruby: Yes?

Henchman 4: I said put your hands in the air! Now!

Ruby: Are you Robbing me?

Henchman 4: Yes!

As Roman is waiting at the entrance the Henchman flys past him out the store window. He looks at another henchman who draws his gun and points it at Ruby. That henchman also goes through a window with Ruby as well. Three other henchmen look out the window. The scene then shows Ruby standing outside as her weapon Crescent Rose unfolds into its scythe form. Roman looks out the window as Ruby looks back at him. She spins her scythe, planting it in the ground pointing at the shop.

Roman: Okayyy...(He looks to the remaining henchmen) Get 'er!

The three criminals rush out as Ruby spins on top of her scythe, kicking the first henchman in the face. She then begins to spin with her scythe taking out the other henchmen. She fires the gun part of her weapon to dash around the street planting the scythe and spinning to change direction. The last henchman lands at Roman's feet as Ruby lands across from him. Roman looks at the henchmen

Roman: You were worth every cent, truly you were.(To Ruby) Well Red I think we can all say it's been an eventful evening and as much as I'd love to stick around. He raises his cane at Ruby. The bottom opens up, revealing a sight from a gun. Roman fires a shot, Ruby prepares to dodge it as a person stepped infront of her and cut the bullet in half. The person is revealed to be a boy. Ruby looks at the boy in disbelief, because he isn't holding a weapon.

Ruby: How'd you do that?

Boy: I'll tell you later Red.

The boy looks around for Roman, not being able to find him, he scans around spotting him climbing a ladder onto a nearby building. The boy takes off towards Roman at speeds even Ruby can't comprehend. Ruby looks to the cashier.

Ruby: You okay if we go after him?

Cashier: Uh-huh.

Ruby then also runs towards the building Roman climbed. She uses the shot from her weapon to launch her onto the building seeing Roman at one edge of the building and the boy across from him
