My eyes fluttered opened as the sunlight shining through the window, arms were wrapped around my waist causing me to turn.

Jonah laid there, head resting in his hand, as he watched me.

"Were you watching me sleep?" I rose a brow.

"No." I gave him a look. "Okay, fine I was."

"You just sleep beautifully." He replied before pressing his lips onto mine.

I kissed back and tangled my fingers in his hair, and his hand slid down my waist.

I pulled away as we had to get ready for work.

Jonah groaned.

"Come on, we have to get ready for work." I said before getting out of bed.

I went to my bag to grab my clothes.

Once I grabbed them, I turned to see Jonah still in bed, hiding his face in the pillow.

Rolling my eyes, I leaned down to pick up my shoe, before throwing it at him.

"Ow!" He yelped.

"Get ready or we're not seeing the movie tomorrow!" I snapped before going into the the bathroom.

I sat beside Garrett and Cheyenne as we watched Mateo's farewell video.

"I don't get it." I said.

"Is he transferring or dying?" Garrett asked.

"Yeah, Glenn, this is terrible." Dina said as the three of us fist bumped.

"Oh, I didn't make it. Mateo did." Glenn replied.

"That makes sense."

"Shh! Pay attention." Mateo yelled at us.

"What am I gonna miss the most? Uh, the people? They're salt of the Earth." I rolled my eyes.

Jonah threw his head back pretending to be dead as I smiled.

Cheyenne hit my shoulder.

Her and Garrett are the only ones who knows, we're seeing each other.

"Wait, so, um, who's asking
you these questions?"

"Bitch! I am not basic!" I flicked Mateo.

Next in the video was Mateo taking off his shirt.

"That is not your chest." Garrett said

"Yes it is."

"Then take off your shirt." I said as Garrett hit him.

"I had a big breakfast." I rolled my eyes.

"My advice? I guess it would be leaving
every place you work at a little bit better
than when you found it. Did I do that here? Who can say? Yes. I think I did."

"Well, that was a massive waste of time." Dina said.

"Okay, moving on. We have not had a tornado drill in eight years, so we really should..." Glenn was cut off

"I started this journey as a small child in the Philippines..."

I rested my head on my hand as Mateo was showing us where he was transferring.

"This is where you'll be working?" Cheyenne asked.

"It looks so different." I replied.

"It's a Cloud 9 Signature. They have a beauty concierge, their produce is all organic, and their cafe has never
given anyone diarrhea."

"That is impressive."

"How did you get all these pictures of the store?" Glenn asked.

"It's on Yelp." Amy replied.

"Ohh, yeah." Glenn said not knowing what it was.

"It's a website where people post reviews." Amy told him.

"Wait, do you think our store has a Yelf?" I giggled.

"I'm sure we do." Jonah took the laptop from Mateo.

"Ah, well, it's amazing how quickly you all made this about you."

"Voila!" Jonah exclaimed as I smiled at him.

"Oh, my God! Look at that! We're famous! 168 reviews."

"Store's okay. I usually stop there because it's on my way home."

"We're on his way home." Glenn said happily.

Jonah scrolled down until Glenn told him to stop.

"Wait, stop!"

"Cloud 9, more like Cloud 1, as in the one star I'm giving because I can't give zero." I read.

"Ha! He's a good writer." Mateo replied.

"Glenn, just ignore this. That guy's a troll." Glenn started gesturing height.

"No, uh, no. Uh, he's a full-sized
human being, non-mythical who writes mean things on the Internet."

"What?"

"Yeah, 99% of the Internet is just people tearing other people down." Jonah explained as I rolled my eyes.

"It's actually why I am considering leaving social media."

"Just do it, already." Mateo rolled his eyes.

"Ugh, you don't get points for talking about it."

"My friend Corona sells her pee on the Internet." We all stared at her.

Cheyenne, Mateo, Jonah and I were putting up a display as Mateo kept on talking about himself.

"You know, I feel kinda bad that I got promoted and you guys didn't."

"Oh, is getting transferred because you're sleeping with Jeff considered a promotion?" Jonah asked.

I slipped my hand into his, as he squeezed it.

"Hey, there you are." Jeff said as Jonah and I let go of each other's hands.

"Hey." Mateo said.

"Got your transfer paperwork right here." Jeff took them out.

"So just go ahead and fill that out and get it turned in to me with your Social Security card and we're good to go." Cheyenne, Jonah and I looked at each other.

"Cool. Um, I-I can actually just give you the number."

"Uh, no, they actually need.to see the card these days. They gotta run it through E-Verify. Is that gonna be a problem?" Jeff asked him.

"No, no, no. No, I just didn't realize this
store was like Nazi Germany." He did the Hitler stance.

"Ve must see your documents. Heil Hitler, Mein Fuhrer." I gave him a look.

"Social Security card."

"Great, no problem." Mateo said as Jeff walked away.

"Do undocumented people have documents?" Cheyenne asked.

"No. No, we don't."

"Oh."

"So, like, won't that be an issue?"

"Yes!"

"Calm down Hitler, du schlampe." I said before heading to the back.
