11: Life Still Goes On

I don't know what's wrong with me

My mind is in a messy cacophony

My throat is burning, the tears push through

And I still don't know why I play as the fool

The stubborn fool

The fragile fool

The hiding fool

Through the angry facade

Behind the tough mask

Is a broken little act

That I wish could last

It isn't fair, not for me, not for them

It's never fair, somehow, that fact stays the same

Do you ever wish for it to just stop

For all the problems to just come to a halt

To just let the liquid pearls trace your cheeks

To just let them out, the cries you tend to keep

Do you ever wish for someone to just see

What lies behind mindless jokes, a helpless plea

For someone to just know

Who you are. To no longer be unknown

To be kept in safe arms, to know all your secrets

So I don't have to be scared of having to keep it

To know not your reputation, but your very own character

Because even you have no clue what lies in the depths of your interior

To tell you who you are, the person you're meant to be

To tell you what even you don't know about yourself, what lies behind the shielded me

"You haven't seen him?"

Kakashi shook his head. The hokage sighed and looked down worriedly - it had been a week since he last saw the blonde,

("I give up" )

He hadn't been attending any of team 7's meetings, and no one has seen him around the village or even in his apartment.

("I give up" )

I give up? What is that supposed to mean? His last words (no not his last- ) were rather worrying. If this goes on however, they will have to label him as...as a missing-nin, which he rather not do.

(Although everyone else in the council and even the villagers seem eager at that thought.)

"Thank you, Kakashi, you may leave now"
