Please, don't leave me here alone - Part 2

Okay, so I was supposed to finish the story yesterday but you see I was kind of tired. So I am posting this today.

Anyway, here's the last chapter.

Percy's POV

I didn't see the truck until it was one inch away from hitting me. I calculated the speed of the truck. It was going too fast. 

I don't think I'll make it.

Jason will.

But I promised him I won't leave him.

What should I do?

The truck hit us with great force and shattered the glass. The car caved in and crushed my hand in the process.

I felt something pierce my upper abdomen. I looked down to see a glass piece sticking out of it.

My head banged my head against the dashboard. Black dots clouded my vision.

It hurt.

"Percy?" I heard a voice. Jason

"Yeah" I managed out in a small voice.

"You okay?" He asked.

I tried to take a deep breath. But it hurt so I winced. Which basically told me that I was not okay.

"No" I replied truthfully.

"You?" I asked.

"Kind of" came a reply.

I tried to look at him. But I couldn't turn my head. Maybe a broken neck.

I tried to pull my hand out. It didn't budge but instead added more pain.

A tear escaped my eyes.

The world was spinning.

My head throbbed.

Everything hurt.

"Jason, it hurts" I said unable to control the pain.

I tried to stay conscious.

"It's okay, the ambulance would be here soon. Just hold on, please" He said. I know he was trying to convince himself more than convince me.

But I am a doctor myself. I know what hurts can kill and what do not.

A hear a sob. Maybe Jason. I ignore it.

Allie.

"Jason?" I call.

"Yeah?" I hear him.

"Allie will be okay right?" I ask.

"Of course she will, we both will be there for her" he said.

'No Jason, you will be there for her. I will not' I was tempted to say it but decided to keep quiet.

I tried to breathe.

Then I realized I can't breathe.

I was dying.

"Sorry" I croak out unable to breathe.

Jason remained quiet.

"You know I love you right?" I manage to say before I gasp for breath due to lack of oxygen.

"I love you too Percy" he says back. He finds my good hand and holds it.

I gasp again for oxygen but it was useless.

I was dying.

And some deaths cannot be prevented.

A tear escaped my eyes

Then another.

And another.

Then I was consumed by darkness.

And I greeted it like an old friend.

Okay, so I feel so sorry for you guys.

So, think

'Then I was consumed by darkness blah blah blah' as a cliffhanger.

The second book is all about Percy and Jason dating and stuff.

The third book is about what happens after Percy dies. Or does he?

Jason: Wait Percy lives?

Me: No, he dies and then Allie gets cancer and then you hook up with Leo.

Jason:....

Audience:....

Percy Jackson fandom:....

Asia:....

The entire world:......

Me: *still waiting for a reaction*......

My best friend: Seriously?! Out of all the characters in PJO fandom, you choose LEO?!!?

Me: ITS CALLED SARCASM

How?: She laughed at her own jokes because no one ever heard or laughed at them so she laughed at her own jokes and died laughing.
