Chapter 7 - Haruhi

It was the time of the scholarship exams the exams that let commoner people enter ouran without having to pay the school registration fee

Li Hua's POV

I was walking to the club when I saw a person wearing a sweater going inside the club "that's weird" I said out loud "what's weird?" My brother Liu asked me "oh, it's cause someone in a sweater went inside the host club" I said pointing at the door "well, isn't the host club for everyone? Come on let's go inside" He said going ahead making me smile as I followed him into the room "greetings Lia" Kyoya greeted me casually "oh hello mister Ootori, mind telling me how you got here earlier than me?" I said making my way near our little work table

"oh my apologies, as you see I couldn't leave the host club alone the finances are so easily moved here" He said looking at honey-senpai's cakes "I see, so you need my help" I said as I layed out my laptop on the table "oh that won't be necesarry, you have a few appointments today, it's been increasing ever since you joined" He told me lifting up his glasses "that is quite impressive, then again you are a Zhang" He told me as he continued writing on his notebook

'You are clearly aware that I can see through you, when will you start showing who you really are to me?' I thought as I sighed at our 2 months of being engaged and went walking to a guest table that had two boys seated waiting for me "I'm sorry dearies, I lost track of time unintentionally" I said sitting down "oh it's perfectly fine Lia-chan! We'd wait for you even if its years!" They said giving me a reassuring smile making me open my fan as I smiled back a bit at them

"wait here as I'll go get us some tea, okay?" I said standing up and going over to the trays that contained ready tea sets "now let's see, chamomile? Or earl grey?, i'll go with earl grey today" I said calmly and looked at the corner of my eye as the boys made a racket "I'm not a hero i'm an honor student" An unfamiliar voice said that made me turn my head over to them "an honor student?" I said as I walked over to them while holding the tea set "ah so you must be the scholar, Haru...Haruhi Fujioka right?" I asked butting in the conversation

"Y-yes that's right...miss?" Haruhi said uncertain of what's happening, I'm not entirely sure about their gender but, I'm certain their voice has the tone of a girl "I never knew the scholar would be treating women differently! So you're a homosexual maybe?! So what kind of type are you looking for?" Tamaki asked the guest more question "as much as I would like to stick around for this drama I have guests to entertain" I said outloud as I walked away from them and going near the table when I heard something being moved and when I turned around I saw the vase almost falling directly my way when I was pulled to a side by an arm as the vase came crashing and breaking into bits of broken shards

"I swear miss Lia" The figure said which I am very familiar with "if you don't watch your step you will end up like that vase if you're not careful yourself" Kyoya said putting his arm away as I looked at the vase "that's a very intriguing arguement but, that vase was worth 513,586.92 chinese yuan!" I said as my expression gloomed "and it took me forever to convince my godparents for the original" I added "I-I'm so sorry!" The culprit said as I looked up at the source only to see it was the scholar

"That is actually a vase that was about to be up for auction and it was going to start at 8 million yen, so" Kaoru spoke up as Kyoya was heading to the broken pieces and picking a piece up "I-I'm so sorry! I really didn't mean it!" Haruhi said still in shock "well? what do you think Tamaki?" Kyoya asked taking out his notebook 

"Since it has come to this, and you clearly can't pay it all back, we do as the romans used to do! We'll make you our dog!" Tamaki said in triumph as the commoner got confused

I sighed putting the tea set down on a table nearby and walked up to Haruhi "my apologies as well, but you know an apology can't fix this right? So we're going to have to make do with Tamaki's suggestion and work here for it to be fair, do you understand?" I said while hiding my frown behind my fan "o-oh... I guess that's fair" Haruhi said adjusting her glasses which made me feel a bit annoyed

"Haruhi, do you mind if I?" I asked as I took off her glasses to reveal her eyes making everyone gasp including me "alright! Men, get this man dressed in a uniform! Now!" Tamaki said as he pushed the twins and Haruhi to get Haruhi to wear the uniform "yes boss!" The twins said rushing as we looked at them in confusion only

"I honestly don't like the school uniform to begin with" I said walking back to my clients "it's okay lia-chan you look perfect in your little hanfu anyways!" They told me making me giggle 'still, I know that Haruhi doesn't have the gestures of a man, let alone act like one so I'm not so sure if my theory of Haruhi being a girl is correct anyways' I thought as I continued to entertain my guests

'Hang on though, Kyoya could have saved the vase, why did he opted to save me when that vase was worth more than a couple of wounds I would have gotten?' I thought as I remembered Kyoya saving me earlier and I looked at Kyoya's direction as he was typing on his laptop 'dear me' I thought

~Time Skip~

My last guests had already bid me farewell as they walked out the door "right, that was the last of them" I said as I went to the changing rooms to see everyone was there including my brother "what's going on here? Can someone please tell me why you all are piled up in one spot?" I said pushing my way through the boys as I made it to the center of attention to see Tamaki red all over looking at Haruhi and finally got the picture

"I see so I was right and you where figured out Haruhi?" I said making everyonr look at me and Tamaki widened his eyes "You...You knew about this?! Why didn't you tell me earlier?!" He said dramatically "I'm sorry Tamaki but, I was unsure" I said calmly while hiding my expression with my fan again as he growled "I swear! If I had knew then we would've thought of something else!" He said dramatically pointing

"I mean, it's okay if she was a host, because she certainly has the features of one although" I stopped walking up to Haruhi inspecting her "where are you going with this Lia?" My brother asked me cocking up an eyebrow, "well she, doesn't look like much of a she unless you look her in the eyes clearly, but in our case they look for the one's with the best look and personality so" I said coming to a conclusion "we let her become a he" I said closing my fan in triumph

"Huh?" Everyone asked in which made me sigh "if I may, what Lia is trying to say is that we let her be recognized as a man in order for her to pay her debt to us" Kyoya cleared out as I nodded "exactly" I replied, "I honestly don't really care if you all think I'm a boy or a girl as long as you see me for who I am through my personality" Haruhi said making Tamaki feel dramatic "Oh my! Such words for a girl like you! Oh dear!" He said posing dramatically making us sigh

"What our king is trying to say is, would you join us in becoming a host?" I asked in place of Tamaki "well it's just charming girls, why not?" She said smiling at us as we nodded "it's settled!" Tamaki said
