Chapter 26

Jennie POV

I tilt my head to the side and cover my eyes with my arms to block the sun ray from hitting on my face.a low grunt escaped from my mouth as i felt my head heavy and tight.i opened my eyes and rubbed it before i slowly look around

I'm in lisa's room?

I want to stood up but i felt chill all over my body that caused me to pull the duvet closer to cover myself.i have a runny nose and keep sneezing.my throat feels sore and it get scratchy everytime i coughed

i look around to find my phone , but the sound of the door opened made me to turned my head to the door , it's lisa.She have a wet washcloth on her hand as she slowly walk to me

"you awake?" I was taken aback of the tenderness in her voice , her voice was soft as she have a worried look on her face.i cleared my throat and nodded

"I-i'm..yeah.." that's all i can say.i averted my eyes from her and put my gaze down on the bed , but i was suprised when her hand suddenly was on my cheek , pulling my head to face her causing my breath to hitched at the proximity between us

"You are still burning.." she sigh and pull her hand away from my face.i was pouting inside at the loss of her warmth

I blame the fever for making me feel like this

i fidgets with my fingers as i have nothing to say.i remembered about me waiting for lisa at outside while raining , and i can feel that someone was carried me and placed me on this bed but i can't clearly remembered about what really happened.it was a little blurry for my head to recalled back

She look at me without utter any words , her eyelids droop and a flash of guilt could be seen clearly in her eyes

"Lay down" she suddenly said.i look at her confusely and tilt my head "what?" I asked

"Lay down , i want to put this on you..i hope this would help to reduce your fever" she said referring to the washcloth that she bring with her earlier , but i shook my head

"It's okay , i'm fin-" i got cut off and my eyes widened when lisa hold both of my shoulder and gently lay me down on the bed , with her face just inch from me.blush crept up to my face as i immediately look away.she place the wet washcloth on my forehead and sit back on the chair.i closed my eyes feeling the lukewarm of it radiates through me as i release a content sigh , feeling a little bit comfortable

I open my eyes and glance to lisa , she also was looking at me but i quickly break the gaze.i awkwardly look around the room.none of us was saying anything that making the room filled with silence.i swallow the lump that formed in my throat and lift my hand up to my face , trying to distract myself by playing with my fingers , but i gasped when i realized something

This is not the clothes that i'm wearing last night!

I quickly sat up and look at lisa with a flushed face , she jumped a little in suprised and look at me with a furrowed eyebrow

"Why?" She asked.i point my finger to my clothes while trying hard to holding back the shame that i feel right now

"T-this , why am i wearing this?did you- i mean.." i unable to say it but she seem knew about what i was trying to say as she let out a soft laugh

Beautiful.

"Don't worry , my mom change your clothes" i sigh in relieve.i pursed my lips and stare at lisa for a seconds , but when her eyes met mine she immediately averted her eyes from me causing me to frown.she looks nervous ,as if she have something to tell me

"Do you have anything to tell me?" I asked.she scratch her nape , the things that she always do when she's nervous.after a brief hesitant ,she release a sigh and finally look at me
