Allister's POV

The Spectre lifted off, and we headed towards our destination.

Xenovia: "So, who's this 'Serene' we're going after?"

Sam: "She's a stuck-up broad from my childhood. Never liked her from the beginning."

Me: "When'd it start?"

Sam: "Grade... Nine. She made my first boyfriend cheat on me, and spread rumors about me..."

I gritted my teeth.

Sam: "She convinced everyone I was insane, and forced me to switch schools three times."

I'm getting VERY tempted to kill that witch.

(Nekros) Relax.

Bite me.

Sam: "No matter where I tried to run, she always seemed to follow me. It was like she made it her job to make my life hell..."

We came across a bit of turbulence, Sam falling on top of me. We both blushed, and she sat down parallel to me.

Sam: "I... I don't know if I can face her now..."

Me: "You can beat her. I believe in you."

Sam: "Al'... Can I talk to you?"

Me: "About what?"

Sam: "It's... Personal..."

Me: "Okay... Follow me."

She followed me to a separate room, and she sat down across from me, looking nervous and afraid.

Me: "Sam, you good? What's up?"

Sam: "I... Have mental issues..."

Play it cool.

Me: "Really?"

Sam: "It's a big step, coming out like this... I..."

She looked down.

Me: "I'm glad you told me."

Sam looked up.

Sam(Surprised): "What?"

Me: "No secrets."

I cupped her cheek.

Me: "I-"

*Knock Knock*

Koneko: "We're here."

Me: "Thanks, kitten."

We got out, walking down the ramp towards the destroyed city. I held Lorraine out front, scanning my surroundings.

Me: "All clear."

We walked forward, passing through a parking lot and a rundown grocery store.
