My Brother

It was half of the year when Enzo came. My Dad decided to adopt him because he pity him. Everything went smooth and I don't have a problem with Enzo since he's nice and quiet.

Months have passed and I can see how Enzo changed. He's been acting so rude lately. Naging mapili na rin siya sa mga pagkain, at kapag hindi niya nagustuhan ay magagalit siya. And there's my Dad, doing everything just to make him happy. He's spoiling him that's why he became like that. 

My Dad bought him the most delicious and expensive food. How I wish that my Dad can be like that to me too. I am his real child here but I can't even feel it because of the presence of Enzo. Hinayaan ko nalang 'yon at hindi na pinansin.

Isang araw ay naiwan kaming dalawa sa bahay ni Enzo. I went to my room and took a bath. When I went down the stairs, I saw the mess all over the place. Nakita ko si Enzo malapit sa pintuan at nagkatitigan kami, dahil sa inis ko ay hinabol ko siya pero hindi ko nahuli.

Then he went inside the bathroom so I followed him there. I glared at him and I can see from his face that he's scared. But I didn't care because I'm so pissed.

Paniguradong ako nanaman ang sisisihin nila Mama at Papa kapag nakita nila ang mga kinalat ni Enzo. 

Binuhat ko siya palabas ng bahay at ikinulong sa bahay ng aso namin na namatay na. He's trying to escape but he couldn't do it because I locked the door.

I hate how he's making so much noise. Naririndi ako. I gritted my teeth and I'm thinking about killing him but I immediately erased it from my mind. Bawal ang naisip ko at hindi iyon tama.

Gabi na ng dumating sila Mama at Papa bitbit ang mga pinamiling pagkain para sa nalalapit na Bagong taon. My Dad asked me where's Enzo and I told him that I locked him inside the house of our dog who died. Nagulat ako sa bigla niyang pagsigaw sa akin at galit akong tinignan.

"Ano bang naisip mo at ginawa mo iyon?! Wala kang awa!" he said.

I bit my lower lip and ran into my room. I cried.

"Ano bang meron si Enzo na wala ako? Ako ang anak ni Papa at hindi siya. Dahil sa kanya hindi na ako napapansin ni Papa. You'll regret this Enzo." sabi ko sa sarili ko.

Kinaumagahan ay nakita kong masayang nakikipaglaro si Papa kay Enzo habang pinapakain ito. Hindi ko na kaya ang nararamdaman kong selos kaya nag-isip ako ng gagawin.

It's already 10 in the evening when I decided to go outside. Hindi ko na pinalagpas pa ang pagkakataong ito.

I'll kill him, I'll kill Enzo. Alam kong mali ang gagawin ko pero huli na ang lahat at nakapagdesisyon na ako.

I saw Enzo who's sleeping peacefully. I reached for the knife and slowly walked towards him.

"Oh my dear Enzo, I'm sorry if I'll end your life this quick. I love you, I mean...I love to kill you. I want you to disappear from our life."

I covered his mouth using my hand and hold his neck, firmly.

"Twinkle twinkle little star, my dear Enzo is about to die." masayang kanta ko.

Nagising siya at nagpupumiglas. I started slicing his neck and there's too much blood coming out. I smiled and laughed as I watch him slowly losing his life.

I looked at the knife that I'm holding and slowly licked the stain of blood.

"HAHAHA! your blood satisfies me my dear Enzo." I caressed his face and smiled like crazy.

And then I slapped him. Galit na galit akong tumingin sakanya.

"The attention that was supposed to be mine became yours. You're so selfish Enzo, and I hate you, that's why I killed you."

Inipon ko ang dugo niya at nagsimulang iluto siya. I started peeling off his skin and put it in the caserole. The next thing I did was to chop his body.

"Twinkle twinkle little star, My dear Enzo will be our snack." pagkanta kong muli at inilagay na ang mga piraso ng kanyang katawan sa lutuan.

Masaya ako dahil wala ng magiging sagabal sa aming pamilya. Ilang oras nalang ay bagong taon na, Mom and Dad will be happy because I cooked a delicious food for them.

At hindi nila alam na si Enzo iyon.

Mahina akong tumawa habang tinitignan ang niluto kong pagkain. It felt so good, ang patayin ka Enzo.

I heard footsteps coming down from the stairs. It's probably my parents. We'll celebrate new year together.

They saw the food that I have prepared for them and they tasted it.

I smiled when I saw them enjoying the food. Little did they know that it's Enzo they're eating.

And suddenly, my dad started looking for Enzo but he didn't saw him.

Then he looked at me suspiciously as if I have done a crime. I just smiled widely at him and because of that, he already knew what I did.

And now, he's throwing harsh and painful words at me but I just ignored it.

"Twinkle twinkle little star, I don't regret what I have done.

I'm so jealous and that's why...

I just killed your favorite child."

I sang infront of my dad and went back to my room.

I killed Enzo, I killed him because I'm jealous.

Pinatay ko siya dahil naiinggit ako sa atensyon na ibinibigay sa kanya.

Kaya pinatay ko ang alagang manok ni Papa. Hahahaha
