6. Secret exposed

Lucy PoV

After soft play the girls convinced me to go over to JJ and Simon's place so I could see them again and they could properly meet Belle. I was really not okay with it in case Harry was there and he found out. although i decided that i was almost ready to tell him i didn't want it to just a sudden surprise event. now that i am here i am glad i came because it is really nice to be around people my own age.

we are all sat in the living room. Belle is on the floor playing with some baby blocks that i keep in her pushchair in case she gets upset or bored. I am on the couch with Simon, Josh and JJ and Freya and Talia are sitting on the floor with Belle. The rest of the boys aren't here and are working on other things. for the first time in ages i am having a drink and getting a bit of a break. It is the nicest feeling. I am holding my favourite drink, which has always been pink gin in lemonade with strawberry slices in it.

''she is very cute, I am getting some real baby fever you know'' Talia tells me

''dont go having any ideas, just enjoy her for now okay'' Simon jokes

''don't worry I am fine just being auntie. I can enjoy her but also give her back when I'm done with her'' Talia adds

''that does sound like a good deal'' I replied an we all laughed

we could all hear the door opening but though nothing of it, I was too happy to care really. the all of a sudden a voice starts talking ''hey guys, only me. I left some stuff here and I need to pick it up''.  it was Harry's voice. I started to freak out and looked to everyone else for help

''uh-get in there'' Freya says as she points to a cupboard on the other side of the room.

''the cupboard?'' I replied

''its that or he finds out now, just go'' Talia tells me as she passes Belle to me

I put my drink down on the table and grab belle and run into the cupboard as Freya shuts the door. i could see everything from the gap in the door. It wasn't until i realised that i left my phone and all of Belle's toys out there and i basically just sat waiting for him to find me.

Freya PoV

''hey guys'' harry walked in to the living room and we all greeted him. he then looked surprised as he saw all the toys on the floor

''what was it you needed then?'' josh asked him as he continued to look around

''what's with all the baby toys, and that baby blanket?'' he asks and everyone gets uncomfortable looking for an excuse

''oh uh, its just for a video, doesn't matter Talia and I were just testing these out'' I told him as he sat down on the couch over from Josh where Lucy was sat

''uh, something is going on here, there is a glass with a drink that I recognize from somewhere. pink gin and lemonade with strawberry slices. and there is a phone over there next to Josh, whose is it?''

''the phone is mine, its an extra for a video'' josh quickly butted in

''and the drink is mine, I copied it from Pinterest'' Talia said

''Josh why is there a screensaver of a baby on your phone'' he asks as we all get more uneasy by the second

''just a stock image'' he quickly replied

as Josh finished talking Belle started to cry from the cupboard and we all looked over which made Harry alert.

''what was that?'' harry asked us

''just the TV'' JJ jumped in with his answer

''but its not on'' 

''he means upstairs''  added

as belle continues to scream and didn't stop Harry got up and walked over to the cupboard and opened the door. the secret is exposed

Lucy PoV

I could see Harry walking to the cupboard and I just had to be ready for him to find me. as he opended the door it took him a few seconds to recongnize me.

''L- Lucy? he said as his jaw dropped 

''Hi harry'' I replied as I adjusted belle in my arms

''Mama'' belle called out for me and then at that point I know that Harry knew everything.

''and. your daughter?''

''our daughter'' I replied as he turned back to look at the group who were all very quiet. the only sound we heard was Belle crying softly.

my secret is exposed.
