It's not you,
it's me.
I know that's the truth
because there's nothing
wrong with you.
But, there's something
wrong with me.
No matter how hard
or how much I love
the sadness and loathing
lives inside my head.
Sometimes it escapes
and latches onto you,
so loving you isn't
something I can do.
