It rang for the end of class. The alien came out of the classroom and Rio and a couple of other girls came up to me.
"hey (y / n) i want you to meet my friends" Rio told me
"sure, hello everyone" God, they're all so sweet and beautiful
"Come on, Megu, you first" Rio pushed a girl with brown-gray hair and bangs in front of me
"hii, I'm Kataoka Megu, but please call me Megu" she told me and held out her hand, I closed my eyes, a smile formed on my face and we shook hands.
"next" Rio said
"okay, I'm Kayano Kaede, you can call me Kaede too" the green-haired girl told me, how sweet she is, I want to hug her
"Come on next, we don't have time" Rio re-entered the conversation
"and in the end I am Rinka Hayami, feel free to call me just Rinka" the girl with the light orange hair told me

It's not fair, all the girls here are beautiful, only I look like a potato TwT.
"so (y/n), do you want to have lunch with us?" Rinka asked me
"sure" I got up and took my lunch box "where we will eat?" I asked them
"uhhh, i know one place, i always go there when i'm sad, or when i have to study, it's a beautiful place" Kaede told us.
"okay then let's go there, Kaede, leads us"

Time skip to that place

"kaede, I love you, don't get me wrong... BUT THIS IS AN ORDINARY HOLE FULL OF STONES" Rio shouted
"shush Rio, not as bad as it looks, now, get into that hole" Kaede told us showing us to get into the hole
"excuse me?"
"just jump down" Kaede pushed us all into that hole.
I feel like Alice now, falling through the hole. on the bright side, I might find a white rabbit that can talk...

"uuum Kaede, where exactly are we?" Megu asked her
"at the bottom of the hole" Kaede simply replied
"I can see that well, but what are we going to do at the bottom of the hole?" Megu asked her again
"what? I don't understand, you study here and come when you are sad?" This time Rinka asked
"no, we haven't arrived yet, follow me" Kaede turned and headed for a tunnel?

after a while, we arrived at some room. it wasn't exactly a room, but it was a space with a lot of tunnels. there were a lot of tunnels, which led to this room, they all connected here. each of them led to a different place. the room was large, there was nothing special, an ordinary stone room. it had like crystals in the walls. as weird as the code looked, I have to say it's beautiful. the thought of where all these tunnels could take you fascinated me. Kaede took the red ribbon and tied it next to the tunnel from which we came out.

"What are you doing?" Rio asked Kaede
"I mark the tunnel we came out of so we don't get lost later" Kaede answered, and sat down on the floor.
"smart" Rinka added and sat next to Kaede
"where do you think all these tunnels can take you?" I asked looking around
"and I've always been interested in that, hey do you want to explore that this weekend?" Kaede suggested
"suits me, I can't wait" Megu said as she smiled, she seems to be really happy about this
"same with me" said Rinka, then took her bento, and began to eat
"same with me and (y/n)" Rio took out her chocolate and started eating
"I can't wait, you know how interested I am now in what's going on there" I said. I don't know why, but I'm very happy about this. my eyes shone, my smile was from ear to ear.

we sat, we ate and we laughed. it was beautiful. we weren't in any fancy restaurant, we were together, that matters. we joked and sang together. I don't know what happened to us, but we behaved like 4-year-old children. at one point I heard screaming...
"AAAAAHHHHHH" the screaming was coming from one of the tunnels
"what was that?" I asked. how scared I am now, is this our end
"Listen, we're fighting an alien who wants to destroy the planet, this is nothing, we can beat this" megu told us, I can say that she is as scared as we are but she doesn't want to show it
"from which tunnel does it come?" Kaede asked
"I don't know, there are over 10 tunnels here" Rio answered
"this is the plan, let everyone take a baseball bat, which first sees something coming out of the tunnel, hit him with all your might!" I shouted the last words
