I of course awoke first this morning. Boris looked like he hadn't slept in years. He was obviously really tired. I grabbed my phone and ordered some food for the both of us.
I re-positioned myself. I lay with my head on Boris's back. My arm tiredly draped over his waist.
He awoke about ten minutes later. He noticed my loose arm on his waist. He grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers, his thumb slowly massaging ((right word??)) the side of my hand. He turned over to face me. He smiled when he saw me. "Good morning kochanie" he signed before giving a quick soft kiss on my forehead. I rubbed my eyes with the back of my hand and leaned back in and kissed his lips. It was a lot longer.
"I ordered food." I signed, stretching my body.
It was only eight in the morning, it was very pretty outside and I could see some birds perched on the bird feeder outside.
I changed out of my clothes. It was cold in the hotel room so I flinched at the cold air that hit my skin as soon as I lifted my shirt.
Goosebumps were visible but they soon went away once I put on a thick shirt.
Throwing my used one on top of the washer to be washed later.
I grabbed my glasses and slid them onto my nose.
I could see more clearly. I looked outside again, the birds were gone but the city we were in was lit up.
I looked back at Boris who had the food in one hand and was leaning against the door frame.
"Cold, hm?" He signed with a raised eyebrow.
"Yeah It is, the city is really pretty today." I signed, gesturing to the city outside.
He walked over to me covering my shoulders with one of the blankets.
He sat down next to me, looking outside. "It's loud." He signed adding.
"Well I can't really agree to that Boris." I signed with a scoff.
Boris let out a laugh as well. "You didn't explore the hotel room, there's a lot to this one. It's big for a hotel room." He signed before holding his hand out for me. I didn't hesitate to grab his hand as he pulled me around the apartment. Telling me about different functions and rooms that the hotel had.
He went on and on about how the hotel did this and that, something he probably learned from one of the many documentary's he had watched. We both had gotten used to the cold air on our skin. Boris signed some gibberish before I tried to tackle him, I failed and Boris let out a shriek. We ran around the hotel. Accidentally bumping our bodies into everything. Boris ended up pushing my tired body onto the bed and freaked out when I didn't get up. I was tired so i wanted to stay because it was comfortable. "No, kochanie get up." He signed with a laugh before grabbing my shirt and lifting me up. "We can't sleep all day. We should be active today and figure out what we want to do in the future."
He signed with a semi- serious face. I nodded and we both decided we should go explore what the hotel looked like so we had an idea of how to get around.
He changed before we left.
We walked around for awhile. Our loose arm tangled around each other's, there were many people around so I made sure Boris was next to me. I'm guessing it was loud. Because there was a lot. We looked around for awhile. Using the different elevators to take us places and trying the stairs. We got the basics and headed back to our room.
The shower was honestly the weirdest part of the hotel.
I had to get Boris to show me how to operate it because I couldn't figure it out, and felt dumb when he showed me because it was simple. I looked back at the clock 10:30 it read.
"Eh, there's a pool table downstairs we can try tonight if you want." Boris signed putting an arm around my shoulders.
"Sure, what time though?" I asked in reply, Laying my head on his shoulder.
"9-10 a-clock?"  He replied after a moment of thought.
I nodded and he smiled.
This is Theo Decker Signing off.
