"How could you let them take Appa Why didn't you stop them?!" Aang yelled at Toph.

"I couldn't! The library was sinking! You guys were still inside and-" Toph swung her arms opening, motioning to everything.

"You could have come to get us! I could have saved him!"

"I can hardly feel any vibrations out here. The sandbenders snuck upon me and there wasn't time for-"

"You just didn't care! You never liked Appa! You wanted him gone!" Katara walked over to them, placing a hand on Aang's shoulder.

"Aang, stop it. You know Toph did all she could. She saved our lives."

I stood there awkwardly watching everything unfold.

"Who's going to save our lives now? We'll never make it out of here." Sokka said, motioning to the endless expanse of the desert.

"That's all any of you guys care about: yourselves! You don't care whether Appa is okay or not!" Aang angrily walked off. "I'm going after Appa," he said, flying away from us.

"Aang, wait!" Katara called after him. She sighed and turned back towards us. "We'd better start walking. We're the only people who know about the solar eclipse. We have to get that information to Ba-Sing-Se." We began walking out into the desert.

"It's so hot..." I groaned, following them. I fell backwards, surprised as I bumped into Toph, who had bumped into Sokka.

"Can't you watch where you're-"

"No."

Sokka blushed, which was hard to see on his already red face. "Right. Sorry."

Katara stopped, looking back at us. "Come on guys, we've got to stick together."

I sat there for a second, looking at Toph and Sokka who seemed to be stuck together. "If I sweat any more, I don't think sticking together will be a problem." I frowned, grossed out. Toph hit him, separating them.

"Katara, can I have some water?" She asked, turning towards her.

"Okay, but we've got to try to conserve it." She took some water out of the pouch on her side and divided it up for the four of us. We all drank it.

"We're drinking your bending water? You used this on the swamp guy!" Sokka yelled.

"It does taste swampy..."

"Not the worst thing I've tasted," I said.

"I'm sorry, it's all we have." Katara capped her water pouch.

"Not anymore! Look!" Sokka pointed to a large cactus and ran over to it. He cut off the top and began drinking whatever liquid was inside it.

I squinted, looking at the cactus. "....oh no."

Toph looked over at me confused as Katara followed them. "What?"

"That cactus has some uh... psychedelic properties." We watched, walking over, as Sokka and Momo began to act weird. "And it just set in."

"Okay, I think you've had enough." Katara said as she poured the rest of the juice on the ground.

"Who lit Toph on fire?" Sokka asked, looking at her.

"How'd you know it does that?" Toph asked me, ignoring him.

"I've experienced it before." I blushed, embarrassed. "It was uh... eventful."

We continued walking, through the desert, only stopping from a sudden explosion, and a large cloud of dust.

"What is that?" Katara asked.
