HOW YOU MET

You two met in your first year of high school. While practice was going on for the volleyball club, you had to deliver a couple of papers for Takeda that he forgot in the faculty room. While talking to him about them, Hinata spiked the volleyball to hit the middle of your face. First impressions are everything, am I right or am I right?

HOW YOU ASKED HIM OUT/HOW HE ASKED YOU OUT

Wanting to grow out of his nervous state and being a man (as Nishinoya and Tanaka worded it) Hinata was built enough courage by his upperclassmen to ask you out. He was a hot mess, he couldn't get the words he was saying in his mind to form sentences. For a solid minute, the two of you just stood there as Hinata embarrassed himself further and further until he screamed

"UGH WILL YOU GO OUT WITH ME?!"

COMFORTING YOU

Hinata is not the best at comforting since words are not his forte but his presence alone makes your worries go away

He knows when you're upset and when you are he'll just hug you and let you lay your head on his chest while venting out what has been bothering you as Hinata plays with your hair

It doesn't take much for him to make you feel better but he wishes he could work on his words a little more since he doesn't just want to rely on his demeanor

COMFORTING HIM

Such as with yourself, it doesn't take much to comfort Hinata however he is a lot more moodier and sensitive to the smallest things

When the two of you are alone, he'll just collapse on your chest and position his body between your legs in silence with you playing with his ginger hair. The two of you stay like this until Hinata is ready and more emotionally stable to talk about what has been bothering

YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT HIM

You love his hair. Since you don't see a lot of gingers and the fact that Hinata has fluffy hair it really catches your attention. His hair is soft to the touch and you just can't keep your hands away from his hair. You touch his hair a lot more than you should but it calms you and Hinata openly likes it when you do this so I see this as an absolute win

Aside from physical traits, you love his general aura. Hinata just reeks of innocent sunshine and he is so cute. Just seeing him makes your day 10x better than it was before. Needless to say, he is quite literally the light of your life

HIS FAVORITE PART ABOUT YOU

Hinata loves your arms. Since he is quite shorter than you, when you hug him he feels really secure and protected. Just being in your arms feels like heaven on earth. Not only does he feel secure, but he also loves how soft they are especially your forearms. He feels all the love with your arms and when he is in between them

He also loves your openness. You don't shy away in the shadows and he just admires how you speak your mind and are not afraid to call someone out. You're not afraid to talk back and it really comes in handy when someone is picking on either you or him. That type of confidence is what he wants for himself. Not gonna lie, he high key be jealous of that trait

Hinata is pretty open with public affection and doesn't mind, he wants people to know you're taken and to show how much he loves you. Naturally, though, he gets flustered so he can't display his love for you so easily but holding hands is ok. Sometimes he'll even wrap his arm around your shoulders or even your arms
