HOW YOU MET

The two of you met in your second year of high school and first impressions were not the best. Atsumu and yourself hated each other with a burning passion. You found his hubris nature in volleyball games annoying and his general personality pissed you off. Atsumu didn't like how judgmental you were of him and how loud spoken you can be. The two of you officially met at one of his games when you started screaming insults at him when he was serving the ball. Atsumu was very surprised by your actions but he didn't like it. Despite going to the same school you always cheered on for the opposite team. Needless to say, neither of you liked each other

HOW YOU ASKED HIM OUT/HOW HE ASKED YOU OUT

Atsumu was the one to ask you out first. After growing on one another actually starting to like each other as people, the two of you became close friends who liked to tease each other but that quickly turned into crushes. Sangwo-I mean Atsumu didn't plan on it or anything. The two of you were hanging out after school leaning on the rooftop bars looking at the sky talking about life. When silence seeped its way into the air he confessed and you honestly almost didn't believe him and thought it was all a joke. Realization hit that he wasn't joking when he was blushing and silent. You still accepted his feelings and reciprocated them

COMFORTING YOU

The few things he isn't good at is comforting others. It's like he is comforting a serial killer, it isn't comfort. He tries, genuinely, but somehow, some way Atsumu ends up making things worse for you. He does these like backhand statements/compliments which later turn into insults and it just makes you cry or angry enough to seriously yell at him. Atsumu always ends up feeling bad afterwards so when you're upset about anything he never says anything to help you out. Instead, he gets his brother Osamu to help him make some kind of pastry for you to eat or your favorite food. The gesture is sweet to you that you'll talk about the reason you're upset with him a few hours later when you're all cheered up

COMFORTING HIM

Ok you're a 1000x better than Atsumu can ever do to comfort anyone. It is very easy to tell when Atsumu is upset because he purposely makes it obvious. Atusmu is an attention-seeker through and through and desperately wants comfort especially from you. Boy does he get spoiled by you. Atsumu usually shows how upset he is when he hangs out with your or when he is hanging out with you so you hug him and prep him with kisses all over his cheeks, neck, and shoulders from behind. Then you nuzzle against him speaking to him in somewhat a childlike way (he claims he likes it) as he talks about his day. Once he is smothered with unnecessary attention the two of you cuddle on the floor as he hides his face in your shoulder

YOUR FAVORITE PART ABOUT HIM

You like his face and there is no romantic reason behind it other than you can't take Atsumu seriously when all you can see is Barry B. Fucking Benson and Sangwoo talking to you. His teammates literally made memes out of pictures they have Atsumu usually revolving around his face and it is pure gold. His face is just a meme to you and you absolutely love it because you're dating a meme. Atsumu doesn't like it when you talk about this to others because he wishes you had a romantic reason to like his face. However, you do say that he is handsome which inflates his world sized ego

Not only are the Atsumu memes gold but so is his humor. The two of you just sync up when funny situations. You guys always quote some old ass vine, say the dumbest shit, and do the dumbest shit that it is more believable to say you and him are twins instead of him and Osamu. Atsumu's sense of humor reminds you why you fell in love with this man. He is like your best friend rolled up with wrapping paper that says "boyfriend material" and you ain't complaining about that
