The two of you met in your second year of high school during the summer training camp held in Tokyo. You were Fukuordani's new manager and when practice was over you and the rest of the students were helping each clean the gym. Yamaguchi was also helping and when a few of the balls were still scattered around the floor the two of you reached for the same one as cliche as that sounds but hey that's how the two of you met. He was very shy around you since he was intimidated by your beauty

HOW YOU ASKED HIM OUT/HOW HE ASKED YOU OUT

He was the one to ask you surprisingly since he wanted to "ask you out like a man" (blame Tanaka and Noya). The two of you were having a casual hangout in Tokyo just window shopping when he just outed himself. Out of the blue, he just confessed like SNAP. You yourself were surprised by this confession and his boldness.

"I-I like you more than a friend (Y/n)!"

His facial expressions left your knees feeling like jelly. Oh if you saw your face you would've dropped dead. But all ends well if it starts well

COMFORTING YOU

Ok let's be real here sis/bro, he isn't the best. He gets too flustered and afraid in fear he'll mess up but he still does well when comforting you. He'll instantly know something's up when you're all quiet and space out. What he does is the cutest thing anyone has ever done for you. He wraps his arms around you and starts to slow dance to literally nothing but it always cheers you up without fail and you can blame his cuteness. You lowkey brag about it to your friends about how cute he is when comforting you (and in general since he is a cute green bean)

COMFORTING HIM

You are not the best comforter either but hey it is the thought that counts am I right or am I right? Yamaguchi doesn't talk much when he is upset and it is mainly his expressions when you know he is upset about something. His eyebrows furrow and he'll frown without ever smiling. Whether you're at Fukordani or at home with him, you'll send him these really wholesome memes that make him question how he managed to score a sweetheart like you. You adore and I mean worship his freckles. Yamaguchi himself doesn't like them because he thinks he looks childish and less manly which you disagree with. You always compliment his freckles and you love to connect his freckles with your finger when laying next to him. You always claim they make him more cuter

Aside of physical appearance, you adore his timid nature. It just adds to his charm and when he tries to pull you away from others in public he is all quiet and gives you puppy dog eyes that make you want to jump in his arms and cradle him. He's just so cute, too cute for his own good

HIS FAVORITE PART ABOUT YOU

Yamaguchi loves your hair. Short or long he adores it because of how soft it is. He can't keep his hands away from your head. The feeling of your tresses gliding through his fingers raises his mood than anything else. When the two of you lay on the couch or sleep together, he'll always brush your hair either before sleeping or during a movie, you name it

This little green bean loves your kindness. He still isn't used to it and for good reason too since he was bullied and he is degraded by his best friend Tsukishima so always receiving compliments from you is the best to happen to him.
