during this era, sana matched
with the boys and wore a mix
of gold, black and white
throughout the era. she also
wore alot of gold jewelry that
she hated, especially chains
around her shorts that were
clunky and made alot of noise.
during this area, her makeup
was somewhat dark and she
didn't stand out much. her nails
were polished black and gold.
her statement outfit was a black
and white bandana styled cropped
top, shorts with a gold chain around
the loops, thigh high socks and high
sneakers to make up for the very
large height difference with the boys.

her hair at this time was very healthy. her
hair was a natural black to help her "fit in."
throughout the lives stages she wore in
a wavy style, a straight style, and often
paired with a bandana or up in a ponytail
or in a half up, half down style.

songs during this era had very
little sana. some of this was due
to bighit's unwillingness to put her
in the music and partly it was due
to sana's own lack of understanding
of korean. though her voice could be
heard doing adlibs or underneath the
music, helping the boys with their
parts. sana stans call this the worst
era for sana for obvious reasons. her
lack of time made her a severe hole
in the group and prone to antis calling
her worthless.

despite her lack of lines, sana did
spent a bit of time in the center.
she can thank that due to her main
dancer title. but the time spent in
the center was short lived as one
of the members quickly slipped in.
the choreographer would put her in
the back and since when she was
so short, no one could see her behind
her members which caused sana stans
to be angry but of course at this time
bighit didn't really care and thought
it was best for the group. though they
as a company did believe in her,
they were unsure about reception
and did not want to risk anything.
especially with what happened
with glam.

ever since debut has been herself.
of course, she was a little shy in the
beginning, but it didn't take long for her
prankster and playful side to come out.
the boys became her fast family and
theirsmall yet supportive fanbase
could see howclose the others were
with sana. sana despite the amount
of hate she got, didn't stop smiling.

she told herself constantly that she
didn't come to south korea for no
reason and that she couldn't go home,
she told herself constantly no matter
how hard it for - this was her dream
and she worked hard for it. the members
admired her for her constant positivity
and she became the group's light during
hard times and kept them together
when things seemed turned for the
worst.

- her voice was very stable during this era

- her dancing was very toned down and because she was in the back alot of the time, fans were confused how she was a main dancer

- shippers went crazy with taehyung & sana and put together the theory that he had a crush on her

- spoke korean in somewhat broken phrases and jin and yoongi could be seen teaching her

- when frustrated she would just shout in japanese and everyone would be confused

- her high notes were powerful perioddd

- she was called "useless" and "irrelevant" for not only being in a male dominated group but not contributing much because bighit didn't let her
