I did not expect that!

2 weeks later after Kara's return

National city was happy again to have their hero back. Since her return crime rate was extremely low. So more reporting than superheroing for Kara.

Kara was at the DEO training. Since she got her job back as a reporter at CatCo, she kinda broke a few stuff around there. Thank Rao nobody noticed the broken doorhandles at the entrance. She asked Lena for 3 days off, to work on her powers.

While using the new trial tech. A system that makes parcours, obstacles and robot's to fight. With that she got control of her powers in no time, but she was wondering what her new powers were. Her laser vision wasn't blue anymore, more purple, that was caused of the heat she can produce now.

"Hmm...I should find them out." Said the Kryptonian. Se took a small break and was devouring a whole Pizza, thinking of her girlfriend, Lena. Its was exactly a week since they made their relationship official. She was thinking about the Luthor, until she heard her angelic voice: 'I should go visit Kara.' The super stood up and ran to the door, but was met only with agent's walking around.

"What's wrong sis?" Asked the red head. Kara frowned a bit "Is Lena here? I heard her voice."

Alex was totally confused. "No Kara she's at work, she told me she would get you at 3pm."

That's when it clicked in Kara's head. "Oh Rao, Alex! I can read minds!"

"Seems like you found out one of your new powers. Hey, try mine." Said the director enthusiastically.

Alex's mind: 'So how's it going with Lena?'

Kara's mind: 'Good! I was planning on asking her out on our third date today, I made a surprise for her.'

Alex's mind: 'Did you just talk to me? In my mind?'

Kara froze. Surprisingly they were easy to control and answered. 'Yeah...I just did.'

"Awesome!" Shouted Alex. "So you better continue you training, before your girlfriend catches you. Will see ya later sis! Love you."

The blonde just smiled. "Love you too Alex!" Not long later she continued her training.

2 hours later at L-Corp

Lena was typing and answering emails like crazy. She suddenly hear someone bust open the door. Not bothering looking up "Did someone teach you to knock Lillian?" she answered, coldness in her voice.

"Now dear that is not a nice greeting. I have taught you much better than that." Said Lillian as she spat those word like venom.

Lena stood up absolutely done with er mother's bullshit. "What do you want?" Showing no emotion on her face.

A devilish smirk came on Lillian's face. "I cam here for you!" Right then two big men in black suits grabbed Lena on her arms and tied her on her chair. She was trying on her best face. Looking cold, showing no fear nor emotion, just nothing.

Lillian was walking around her, till she grabbed a photo. On it were Kara and Lena on their very first date as a couple. "I can't believe you fell for that roach." As she said those words with pure hate in her tone. "I came here to kill you. You have killed my son so I shall return the favor, for Lex. You are a disgrace to the Luthor name."

What Lillian didn't know is, that Kara was listening to their conversation this whole time and stayed near by. She read Lillian's mind: 'If I can't kill her, at least I can kill that super. She has know idea I have Kryptonite blade.'

Kara just smirked. Lillian has know idea. She waited till she heard a gun load and flew into the window. She tackled the men to the ground, making them unconscious.

"Kara!" Shouted Lena. "Hey babe, I've missed you." the super said as she freed Lena and gave her a quick peck on the cheeks. Lena's stomach filled with butterflies.

The older Luthor stood there disgusted, but changed to an evil look. "Supergirl, what a surprise."

The blonde turned her whole body to Lillian with Lena behind her. She gave a cold glare, not showing any emotion. With that she walked towards the older woman, thinking of a strategy. That's when she knew what to use. As she read her mind she knew what to do. That exact moment Lillian took out the Kryptonite blade. Kara on the other hand, acted as she were weakend, while Lena sat there with a worried look on her face, till she noticed what her girlfriend was doing.

"Oh my, Supergirl I thing dying a second time wouldn't hurt." She had a huge evil grin on her face as she walked to the 'weakend' Kryptonian. Preparing to slid it though her heart, and did it. But instead of of hurting her, the blade shattered into pieces. Kara wore a big smirk on her face and shoved her to the floor.

"How? That's impossible! It should have killed you in an instant." Said the now afraid Luthor.

Kara just grined and answered: "Lillian there is so much that you don't know about me and Lena is not a disgrace to the Luthor name. She's a hero! Your son, Lex, did that to himself." As she tightened her grip, Lillian had problems to breath.

"Good ahead, kill me. So you will become a killer." Lillian said in a brave voice.

Kara loosend her grip and just gave a cold look. "Actually I want to try something out."

She stood up and tried one of her new powers. She can control a body if she wants and that's what she did. She felt a heart on her hand and it was beating fast. Lillian tried to stand up but couldn't move a single muscle.

As panic rose into her eyes she screamed. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!?"

"Oh just paralyzed you for a good 6 hours." Smiled the super. Lillian was in shock, she had tried so hard to move, but nothing happened. With a small finger move the older Luthor fell unconscious.

The CEO was in total surprise "I did not expect that!" Kara just chuckled and went to kiss her girlfriend. As she broke the deep, passionate kiss she said: "It's one of my new powers. I've also found out I can read minds." Lena just smiled and kissed the blue eyed superhero again.

Alex and a few DEO agent's went to pick up Lillian and her goons. "Good job Supergirl!" Said the director and left the two lovebirds alone.

"So what should we do know?" Said the CEO seductive.

Kara smirked and whispered: "I've made a surprise for you. Meet me at 5 in my loft." She kissed the Luthor deeply and looked into her eyes. She let go, walked to the balcony, gave one big smile and flew into the sky.
