Y/N's backstory: Y/N was a young American who was a fierce anti-communist and when election days rolled around on the Oil Rig, he promised he would end the last sign of communism on earth by purifying the Wasteland and make sure that there will be no mutants, ghouls or any wastelander who has a small sign of mutation. He also promised that once the Enclave and secured some small parts of the wasteland, they will recreate the United States and lead a new manifest destiny to reclaim the once United States of America. With many other promises, he won the election and began a campaign to mount small assaults on the Brotherhood of Steel to decrease their power for the invasion of the Wasteland. He also made some reforms, such as opening more agencies to increase the Enclaves military power and general effectiveness, doing research to make the Oil Rig's Uranium waste reusable for the reactor to give the Rig infinite power.

Setting of the Story: The Enclave was doing better then ever and getting the wasteland back for the USA became a real possibility under the leadership of Y/N and he was the perfect person to lead them. However, The Brotherhood of Steel discovered the oil rig and reported it to the NCR to get them to work together to defeat the Enclave, once and for all. They got all of the troops needed for the attack and got many ships to sail towards the oil rig. When Y/N got words of the invasion, he was more then shocked. He could defend the Enclave against one of them but with the Brotherhood of Steel's technology and the NCR's many soldiers. He knows that he can not protect the oil rig. There is only one thing left to do.

He got a research program to create a portal system as a last resort should the oil rig ever get into danger, and now is the time to test this out.
