I had just woken up when the entire Karasuno team burst into the room, basically shouting questions before a rather angry nurse bustled over and said to keep the noise down or they would have to leave, I sat up timidly. Noya was the first to break the silence "I think we should all get to ask one question" there was muttered agreements from around the room, Noya stepped forward "my question is, are you alright?" I knew there was a deeper meaning to that question as I let out a breath "I'm.. I'm doing fine" Noya nodded and let Daichi take his place "How long" was all he said "....a- a few years.." I looked down as I heard a few sharps inhales "The truth" it was Suga this time, I didn't reply for awhile then "do you really wanna know?" Everybody nodded, I let out a shaky breath "a few years on my 13th birthday my family and I decided to go on a picnic, we where on our way back when it happened. There was a truck. It had swerved to avoid something when we came around the corner. Dad tried to stop but we collided. ever since then i've been working 3 part-time jobs and living alone" there was shocked silence as I stopped talking and looked at my hands which were sitting in my lap "so Natsu.. Your Mum and Dad.." Asahi's voice trembled slightly as I shook my head "they didn't make it" my voice cracked and I wiped my eyes, there was a lot of shuffling feet and clearing of throats before Sugawara (sugamama XD) noticing my silence turned to everyone else "I think its time to leave" he started shooing everyone else until he was the only one left, he looked over his shoulder to the unfamiliar boy that sat there, this one didn't smile or laugh. He just looked.. Broken.
**** I was staring listlessly at the ceiling when I heard the door open and shut, I assumed it was the nurse until a warm hand enclosed around mine, I looked over and saw it was Kuroo "How are you feeling?" He looked worried, I tried to summon up a smile but none came "I'm okay, everyone knows now and probably hates me but you know i'm fine"my voice was dull as I stared at the ceiling again, Kuroo squeezed my hand before sitting on the bed "do you want to talk about it or..." I shook my head slightly and rolled over "I see, I'll.. I'll let you be alone then." He sounded slightly hurt as his warmth disappeared and a few moments later I heard the door open and shut, leaving the deafening silence to settle in again. Something dripped onto my pillow and I dabbed my face. pulling my hand away I saw it was wet with tears,

(Kinda like this but his mouth is shut) I closed my eyes and tried to escape the turmoil of emotions that felt like they where going to swallow me whole.
**** "Looks like your ready to start walking again as long as you don't put to much pressure on that foot, you hear me?" I nodded to the nurse and tentatively stood up, there was no pain as I carefully walked forwards to the door. Turning I bowed slightly to the nurse and left the room, it had been a week since I had broken it (i've lost track of how many days they've been at the camp XD sorry! 😅) and I hadn't seen Kuroo since that time, I assumed I had hurt his feelings so I was going to say sorry. Well... There was also another reason.. I had been thinking about how every time I saw him my heart sped up, every time I thought of him my mouth went dry, and how I felt about him and I had finally come to a conclusion. I loved him. And today was the day I was going to tell him that, my heart was beating fast in my chest and I felt so nervous as I walked to his room, I reached his door and took a deep breath before swinging the door open. My eyes widened as time seemed to stop. the nervous but happy smile that I had on my face faded away. Kuroo was there... Kissing Kenma.

The flower and envelope that I had been holding slipped from my frozen hand and fell to the floor, Kenma saw me a split second before Kuroo did. Kuroo's eyes widened and he pushed Kenma away "Hinata wait its not what it looks like!" He slowly walked towards me with his hands out in front of him. I felt a tear streak down my cheek, then another.

Kuroo stopped as he saw them "Hinata please." I turned around and ran. Ignoring his shouts. My heart felt like it was splitting in two and my tears had no end. I just ran and ran until my legs gave out and I collapsed, sobbing, in the corner of one of the changing rooms. Sound faded. Feeling faded. Until the only thing I was aware of was my throbbing shattered heart.
