Chapter 2 : Shadow of the Colossuses ( Pyramid head Vs Giant Dad )

EY UP !! It'S Your boy Hyde again with a new chapter . Now first up i would like to apologise for my tardiness in updating , since i was a tad rammed with some of my personal bizzos to sort and to top that of i got Scratched up by a feral moggy ..i mean cat i was trying to pat XD . What can i say i have a soft spot for cats , chocolates , military history and weaponry , cryptozoology and International relations , Anyroad i would also fancy to thank  RoelNunez for giving me a brill idea for a truly wicked deathbattle later on and research materials for pyramid head . So thanks a bunch chappie and i hope you enjoy this part as well . So without any further digressions let's be on it like a car bonnet !!!

The members of Fairy Tail were preparing to watch the next episode, but before they could do so they were interrupted by the arrival of some rather boisterous company "Boo yeah we're back baby" Bickslow shouted spreading his arms whilst his dolls or as he called them his "babies" floated about him , the sudden shout from him alarmed the others present inside the guild and Mirajane almost dropped the disc she was loading , "Pipe down , you moron !!!" Evergreen berated him for his brash greeting after giving him a firm bunch of fivers in his head "ouch" !!! . "Cut it out you two !! Freed quickly stated making the two other members of the Raijin tribe quickly cease with their scuffle . Meanwhile Laxus couldn't help but cock an eyebrow at the weird contraption hanging from the wall near the guild bar table which Mira usually catered to. " Fight me , Laxus !!!" Natsu charged in at which Laxus simply dodged. "Later kid" Laxus stated with an uninterested tone . Eversince the aftermath of the Grand magic games he had developed a tad respect for Natsu's power but under no circumstance was he saying that to his face .

"Hey guys , welcome back . How did the mission go...?" Mirajane asked candidly "Was barely a challenge..however we would have sorted things sooner if a certain dimwit did not destroy half of the town plaza whilst taking care of some weak bandits" Evergreen said with a hint of indignance whilst giving a sharp glare at bickslow who visibly flinched "oi...i just went a little overboard with my attack" this was the last straw " "A LITTLE OVERBOARD ??!! YOU LITERALLY JEOPARDISED OUR ENTIRE REWARD " Evergreen screamed almost having a full blown panic attack. Freed quickly stepped between his comrades "cut it out you two !! I am tired of stopping you two because of your nonsensical fights!!" This quickly silenced Evergreen as both her and bickslow looked down in shame. " We all drop clangers and make some mistakes sometimes but that doesn't mean that we blame each other , we are a team and as such we should learn from our mistakes and not berate each other" Freed reasoned , "you're right..." Evergreen said before turning towards Bickslow and apologising which Bickslow reciprocated . Meanwhile Laxus couldn't help but feel a tad warm and ...proud of his team mates for looking after each other ..his thoughts trailed back when he almost destroyed the entire guild because of his selfish and cruel scheme of getting it rid of weak members...this costed him his banishment which made him realise how much the guild and his Grandfather Makarov meant to him and after his battle with grimoire heart and the 7 years gap ... only strengthened his beliefs a faint smile came over his lips however he was quickly brought back from his trip down his memorylanes by an all too familiar voice "So feeling a little proud of your team , eh ?" he quickly turned to look at the familiar stature of the little guildmaster sitted on a chair near the bar along with Natsu , Gray , Erza and Lucy . "Nothing as such old man ..." he said as he made his way near the group before coming close the unfamiliar contraption near the wall he noticed the weird giant screen hanging from the wall in the corner and wondered what was up with that. "Say gramps.. what is that thing...?" He asked with obvious confusion in his voice and this statement also brought the attention of the Raijin tribe towards the bizzare gadget as they slowly made their way to the bar . "Woah !! That thing is huge " Bickslow whistled awestruck at the size of the LED screen . " What might this be ?.." Evergreen said while taking a close look at the blue ray player whilst picking it up . "Be careful now Ever , that is really precious" Levy chimed in further making her confused . Freed was rather intrigued and picked up a weird cover of sorts which had a round thing stored in the middle and on it was a picture of two guys one with a hat and yellow shades and another one with shaved hair and a cloth wrapped on his mouth , both had weird ..but rather advanced looking guns on their hands . And above them was written in bloody and grundged fonts "Deathbattle" , Laxus took it from his hand and looked back at his grandfather . "So
