[September third. First day of senior year in the guaranteed worst school in all of Chicago. I know this is the year that you go on prom and all of the other overrated B.S. but it's not really hitting me as hard as the others. I don't know, maybe because it'll be a Chatham prom and that can't be too amazing. I mean, last year the school finally got the city to fund actual lunches for the students. I've been here since my sophomore year and up until now there was nothing but cold wrapped up sandwiches. Literally everyday. School's a bus ride and a ten minute walk away from home. Chatham has always been full of delinquents and this year I'm expecting nothing less, and nothing more.]
(Trey wakes up in his bedroom and looks at his phone to see the clock as it says 9:00AM)
(Trey quickly jumps out of bed)
Trey: 30 minutes late?
Trey
[Oh yeah, I never was the type to make it on time. Probably because the school across the street ruined my high school experience. It's also the school where I met... Nevermind. Let's just get to school already.]
(Trey walks downstairs in his school uniform of a grey Chatham shirt and black pants and walks towards the bathroom)
(Trey rushes into the bathroom and sees his brother Gvon on the toilet)
Gvon: BRO!
Gvon
(Trey quickly closed the door)
Trey: M - My bad! (Guess he's late too. I'll be even more late if he doesn't hurry. Already gotta let the bathroom air out after he's done!)
(Trey goes into the kitchen and looks into the refrigerator)
Trey: Half a gallon of milk? Okay.
(Trey grabs the box of Frosted Flakes from the top of the refrigerator before finding out it's completely empty)
(Trey shakes the box)
