Kartik’s pov

I was shocked to see the other half of the broken bracelet which I found in the basement and also there was the receipt of the purchase kept there.
But why would some one do that ? Who kept it ?
I think I should tell ranveer and we should go to this showroom maybe we get some clue about the culprit.

I called up ranveer and told him about the bracelet.
He told me to meet him outside the showroom tomorrow at 1:00pm.

Someone was watching Kartik from far away.
" Thank God he got the bracelet. " The person said.

Kartik 's pov

I went to Kriti to tell about the bracelet.

“ kriti listen I want to tell you something ” I said.

“ Ya tell karitk ” Kriti said.

“ see what I got, this broken bracelet and receipt I don’t get it who placed it there in my cupboard ? ” I said.

“ oh I also don’t know but you now forget this and try to find the culprit “ Kriti said.

“Yes I’m going to sara right now “ said kartik

“ ya sure “ Kriti said.

Kartik doesn’t know who kept the bracelet there but I know.

I went to sara’s room she was with Varun and alia

“ what are you guys doing ?” Asked Kartik

“ Nothing much we were going through our old college pics, see you are also her " Alia said.

“ ok show me ! ” I said.

“Yes take it " Alia said and I took the album from her.

Varun and alia left after sometime.

“ sara i really want you to know that you don’t have to worry at all and you should start with a new beginning you can’t be like this,
You have to get over this, please I really can’t see you like this
So gloomy, doomed, depressed please
Whenever I see you I blame myself because I wasn’t there to save you
And I’m really sorry for that “ I said looking in her eyes.

“ Kartik it’s not because of you
Why do you think like this, I also want everything to be back to normal
But what should I do that horrible night doesn’t leave my thoughts for a second
Every time anyone touches me I get so scared I think that they are trying to rape me again and this time I’ll DIE... " Sara said

I kept my hand on her mouth.

“ sara no, don’t say like that please
Nothing will happen to you, I won’t let anyone touch you, any bad energy surround you
But you have to promise me to start encouraging yourself, start taking interest in things ” I said.

“ ok kartik I’ll try I promise you to try “ Sara replied.

“ good girl, now come on sleep. “ I said turning the lights off.

“ ok, listen ” Sara said.

“ ya tell ” I replied.

“ I love you “ Sara said.

“ I love you too” I said.

I made Sara sleep and then went to my room. I kept thinking about the bracelet and slept.

Next day
Kartik 's pov
I woke up and got ready. I left for the showroom as it's a little far from my place.

“ hi kartik” Ranveer said.

“ hi ranveer let’s go " I said

“Sure “ He replied.

“ bhaiya yeh dekhiye yeh jo tuta hua bracelet hai aur yeh receipt aapko pata hai yeh kisne kharida tha " Ranveer ask looking at  the shopkeeper.

“Aap kon “ Shopkeeper asked.

“ police “ Ranveer said and showed him his Id.

“ sir woh pehle ke records toh delete ho gye par aap cctv check karlijiye “ Shopkeeper said.

Me and Ranveer checked the cctv but no major clue could be seen as the cctv was facing at the back of the culprit.

“ oh no the angle of cctv is different and his face is not visible “ I said.

“ hmm but let’s ask the shopkeeper if he remembers his face “ Ranveer said.

“ Bhaiya aap inka sketch banwa sakte hai ? ” Ranveer asked him.
Fortunately he do remember the face.

“ haan sir ” Shopkeeper replied.

Ranveer called up the sketch artist and the shopkeeper directed him and finally the sketch was made.

“ Kartik come and see the sketch “ Ranveer said to me.

I saw the sketch.

" I don't know him but let's show Sara the sketch. " I said looking at the sketch.

“ yes sure “ Ranveer said

Both of us went to our place and showed Sara the sketch.
