Foxifae - nominated for best undiscovered gems - Paranormal

 *Ian Somerhalder, dressed in black jeans and an open neck black shirt, walks proudly down the orange carpet with Foxifae on his arm. Her thin person body suit shimmers with each step she takes. Every now and then she stops to sign an autograph or two till they finally reach a confused looking Ana.*

Ana looks to Ian: Weren’t you here before? And weren’t you wearing something else?

*Ian shakes his head*

Frowning Ana turns to Foxifae: Hiya Foxy darling, congrats on your story ‘Foxblood: Rise of the Hellion' getting nominated for best undiscovered gems in Paranormal.

Foxifae: Thank you.

Ana: I remember interviewing you last year in round one with your first Foxblood story. Tell us about this new one.

Foxifae: Yes, ‘Rise of the Hellion’ is the second book in my planned Foxblood trilogy, following the life of Sophie, a girl chosen to succeed a dying goddess, who discovers all manor of supernatural beings live amongst humans. As Sophie’s powers increase, so do the human casualties, and when a boy she loves is accused of the murders, it’s up to her to discover the truth.

Ana: Hmm, truth is good. *Turning to Ian* Seriously dude you were here earlier. I remember there was a tux.

*Ian shrugs.*

Ana still frowning: How did you react to the news you got through Foxifae?

Foxifae: Non-belief, then shock, then SQUEEEEE!

*Everyone flinches as Foxifae squeals into the microphone*

Ana wincing: Yes well. Oh god I think I’ve gone deaf. Um, never mind you can hear me right?

*Foxifae nods as Ana works at her earpiece*

Ana: Without rupturing my other eardrum can me a little about your self

Foxifae:  I’ll try. So my body hasn’t been a teenager for years, but I think my mind always will be. I have two beautiful daughters age 15 & 16, who love to remind me what a decrepit old mare I really am. I’m very creative. I love to draw, have recently been trying to get a handle on digital art, and I have made many book covers for wattpad writers. I have always had stories whirling around in my mind waiting to be written down, but it was always a ‘one day I’ll do that thing’. Well that day has arrived, and I’m not going away people! It is my dream to be able to make my living writing books.

Ana: Right yes, I think I heard most of that. Good on you for doing something you love. Random question now: If you could be a cartoon character who would you be? Why?

Foxifae: Jessica Rabbit. Who wouldn’t want a figure like hers!

Ana: Va-Va-Va-boom, but have you ever stopped to wonder why you only ever see half her face? I’ve always wondered if she had a little phantom of the opera thing going on there.

Foxifae: I can’t say I’ve given it much thought.

Ana: You should, I might quiz you later but till then I’ll ask one more question before you go. Can you share any embarrassing moments from your life? Go on, can ya?

Foxifae: Oh, there are far too many to mention. I’m a big open mouth insert foot kind of girl!

Ana: Mmmm foot, tasty. Well I had better be letting you go. Unless your date is a clone I recommend you avoid Jilleigh. I think Ian here is pulling a family movie double having asked two different girls to the prom.

Foxifae smiles confidently: Thanks for the heads up but I think I can take her.
