The bell rang for lunch break, I asked Mitch to go ahead first because I have something to do, gladly she accepted,I approached Mark while fixing his things
"Umm.. Hi my name is Park Y/N, can I accompany you?" He look at me immediately and titled his head
"Y/N? Y/N.....I think I heard that name before, but yeah sure" he stood up and we went to the canteen
"Mark this is Mitch, my best friend" they shake hands
"So it's only the both of you?"
"Nope, I still have some friends, actually there are 4 more" he widened his eyes when I said the word "4"
"Woah, where are they?" I noticed a blue haired boy running in front of our table followed by a brown haired color guy being chased by 2 other boys
"YAHHH Y/N HELPP!!" "THE'RE COMING!"
Jaemin and Jeno screamed and immediately hide at Mitch and my back
Renjun and Haechan made it here, they were about to pull Jaemin and Jeno but I stopped them
"What are you guys doing? What are you? Grade schoolers?" they sat on the table beside Mark
"Hayyy I'm so sorry Mark, by the way they are the one I am talking about this is Jaemin, Jeno, Renjun and Haechan" I point them one by one
"And guys this is Mark" he bowed and smiled at the others
"Nice meeting you all" they smiled at Mark
I noticed Mark eating peacefully when he took out a piece of a fruit inside his lunch box....
"Watermelon"
Flashback
"1....2....3! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!" Me and Mark started screaming and jumping up and down as we raced towards the Christmas tree
"Y/N this is for you" Mark gave me a red and green box
"What is it? What is it?"
"It's for you to know, go ahead and open it"
I immediately ripped the wrapper and opened the box out of excitement
"Woaaaahhhh it's a watermelon pillow!" I hugged it tightly and smelled something, something familiar
"Yes, my mom sprayed some of my cologne there so that you'll remember me every time you cuddle with that pillow" I hugged him as a sign of thank you
I now snapped back to reality when Mark gave me some of his watermelon
"You want some?"
"Ah sure" I grabbed the fruit and started eating it
"I really love this fruit since I was a kid, my mom always buy me this every time she goes to the market"
"Ohh I see" I smiled because I remembered Mrs.Lee and my mom always goes to the market every weekend to buy us fruits
"I remembered this childhood friend of mine" he stares at the watermelon for a while
"I gave her a huge watermelon pillow with a scent of my cologne" he chuckles
I widened my eyes as I remembered that night, when Mark gave me that pillow
"Uhm Mark, can I ask you something?"
"Sure what is it?"
"By any chance......." he looks at me with a concerned face waiting for my question
"Do you remember me?"
