Chapter 15: The Afternath: Day 4

"Good morning Cassidy it's been three days since I have given you some time to decide who you want to tell first. Have you decided?" Rebecca said as she came in.

Cassidy fidgeted with her blanket. "Becca you wouldn't lie to me right?" She said

"Cass I would never lie to you." Becca said

"The person I want to tell first. He is the only one who hasn't come to see me. It's Bucky. Can you find him for me?" Cassidy said

"Cass has anybody told you?" Becca said

"Told me what?" She said confused

"Hold on.." Becca said and left the room.

Rebecca got a wheelchair and wheeled it into her room. She helped Cassidy sit down and wheeled her down the hall to the elevator.

"Where are we going?" Cassidy said

"You'll see." Becca said

Once they arrived on the ICU floor she pushed her to Bucky's room.

"Brace yourself sweetheart. This is the ICU floor." Becca said as she opened the door.

She wheeled Cassidy in. When James and Mitchell moved to reveal Bucky. She gasped as tears well.

"No!!! No!! God please Bucky no!!" She yelled as she walked to his bed.

"Cass Cassidy Jane. He is fine he just needs this right now to help him breathe." Mitchell said as he held her.

She caressed his face. "James Buchanan what did you do?" She whispered as she rested her forehead against the side of his head.

She interlaced her fingers with his. "I need you to wake up James. I need my pretend husband to wake up." She whispered as she sniffled

"Cassidy he can hear you. He just has been sedated he can everything you are saying. Go ahead.." Rebecca said

Cassidy looked at her she swallowed hard. She laid her head back on his.

"James..you have been asking me what happened to me. The night of the 4th of July bash Deandre sexually assaulted me and raped me. He broke my arm my eyebrow and cheek bone. I had so many bruises on my back stomach inner thighs. I did my best to fight him off but the concussion and the drugs made it hard. I wanted to scream for help but you all had left already and Jason was passed out." She whispered

*Cough cough..gasp gasp.*

"James..hold on son." James said

Cassidy saw the fear in his blue eyes as he choked and gagged on the tube. The nurse came running in and unhooked it and pulled it out.

"Nice of you to join Mr Barnes." She said as she gave him some water.

He looked around the room so confused. "Where am I?" He whispered

"James..You were shot multiple times. The birthday party for Corey ended a deadly shooting. He owed a lot of money to his dealer." James said as he stood on the other side.

Bucky looked at him. "I was shot.." he whispered

James showed him where all he was shot at. Bucky looked down.

"Tucker?" He said

"He survived. He just he is paralyzed from the waist down he was hit in the back." Mitchell said

"Summer? Amanda? Corey and Kade?" Bucky whispered

"Summer and Amanda did not make it. Corey and Kade both survived just took some to the stomach but they have already been moved to the prison hospital. The others that were there did not make it. But not because we couldn't save them but because they bled out cause the cops had no idea how many buses they needed for the scene till they arrived." Ollie said
