You were focusing yourself in music that blasting through your ears while writing something on a paper. Then someone knock on your table to get your attention, you looked up and remove the other earphone.
"What?" You ask kind of harsh to the boy standing infront of you
Your not that kind of person to talk to someone, you usually wear earphones to get away from the noise around you.
"Your really pretty y/n" the boy said, you saw him a couple of times while having girls around him but you never really know his name
"Uhm... no im not" i reply as i cross my arms to my chest "who are you by the way?" I ask kind of harsh
He act like hurt with a hand on his chest being dramatic. I rolled my eyes annoyed.
"Your wasting my time" i said then stand to my seat, i was about to walk away when he grab my wrist
"Wait!" I stare at him "can i have your number?" With a smirk
"I don't like the way you smirk" i said and pull my wrist "and no" i give him a fake smile then walk away
Weeks pass by...
Since that day he always walks up to you, trying to flirt. You already learned his name, it's mattia polibio. On the top of my head, i feel like all the flirty lines when he talk to me he's trying something and im slowly falling for it.
"I see you and mattia are close now?" My friend said while eating my lunch
"I don't know about that..." i said
"Is he flirting you?" She ask while waiting for my reply i just look at him and fake smile "OMG! REALLY?" she slammed the table making everyone look at us "oh im sorry" she said "why didn't you tell me?" She said
"Well I don't think it's important? And im not sure if he's serious or he just wants me to be his pass time?" I said to her "him being popular with girls making me doubt that he's just bored" i added
"Well did you fall?" I look at him straight to the eyes
"Yes..." i look down to my food thinking if it is right to fall for him
"Then you should tell him" she said i stare at her telling 'are you kidding me?'
"You know it's not that easy, and it's normal for me to fall that easily. You know likeast time." i said to her
"Maybe this is not the same like last time" she said

After weeks...
You talk to mattia without being harsh, you notice how you slowly falling in love with him. After tge talk with your friend you think about it and decided to release what you have in your chest. You were sitting beside mattia talking stuff but then you said his name
"Mattia..." i just stare at me shoes
"Hmm?" I hear him
"I..." you hesitate to tell him. You having thoughts that he was just friendly 'friendly? With girls? You make me laugh' the other side of my brain said
"Y/n?" I jump a little "you good? What do you want to tell me?" He ask me
"Oh... uhm" i sigh "i... l-like yo..u?" I mumble but he able to hear it i hear him chuckle. I take turn my head to him
"Your cute y/n" he smiled at me "i like you too" he said and i feel my face heat up i bow my head again to hide my red face "hey don't hide your face" he giggle and grab my chin turn my head to him. Our noses are touching, i can feel his hot breath to my skin "your so cute" he said he lean in then kiss my forehead
Next day...
Mattia and i decided to make things slow we didn't make it official yet. I was happy that he liked me too. I was on my way to find mattia throught the hallways when i was about to turn i hear voices and i hear my name
"Bro I didn't know you take so long to make y/n fall for you" i hear them laugh
"Me too she's being 'hard-to-get'" i mattia said "I can't believe that she really believed that i like her too" then they laugh again
Words repeating to my head. Is this really true? Your kidding right?? Maybe i have the same name? But wait... no please.
"Let's see how long you and y/n l/n will gonna be" the boy said
"I will end things shortly. Lena didn't know this things are going on" mattia said
"Lena? I didn't know she got to be your girlfriend again?" I feel tears forming to my eyes

I run to the girls restroom i stare at myself in the mirror. Why do you have to fall for someone like him? Why him??
You avoid bumping to mattia for the whole day. Gladly you went home without seing him.
The other day when you walking to your locker to get your books you need.
"Morning y/n" mattia said while resting his body beside my locker. I just give him a fake smile and try to ignore him went to my class.

It's lunch time and im with mattia him being so talkative while me showing that im not interested to what he was saying. Because tge words still running to my head. Im just a pass time, im not important, not even being loved.
"Are you really okay today y/n?" He ask me i glare at him and slam the fork down. I can't hold myself any longer, i grab the tray and throw the trash
"Y/n!" I hear mattia i walk out the cafeteria walk through the hall way until mattia grab my wrist "What's wrong?" He said i pull my wrist i run my hand through my hair then bit my lip to prevent my tears to fall "tell me" i caresses my cheeks
"STOP!" I harshly remove his hands to my cheeks. The tears i was holding was now fall "stop... pretending" i mumble but he surely hear it
"What do y-" i cut him
"Are you fucking kidding me?" I rest my hands on my hips "stop pretending that you care, that you like me when your really not" i breath heavily i saw his eyes turn into regret.
"Im tired of this bullshit pretending" i sob "mattia... im not a fucking toy that you can play when your bored! Im a fucking human with a heart pumping with blood inside! Im a living thing!" I said to him. Gladly no ones around
"Do you know what i went through?? you don't mattia! You don't!" I wipe my tears "im tired being used, being played and deceiving" i mumble i fall on my feet and hide my face through my hands then sob
"I..im sorry" he said he was about to touch my shoulder
"No don't touch me" i said then stand up and run away to get my things and skip school
Im feel tired, empty, and sad. I know this would happen that's why im afraid to tell him.
I fell for his trap...
