School just finished and Clay walks outside with George following him. The weather had cleared and it was just dull and foggy now.
"What direction are you going?"
"Same as yours"
They kept going straight and they reached a deep forest. It was dark and the branches spread out like they were trying to grab something or someone. Something was off and they both knew it.
"I don't remember this place, and I came across here for like 1 year almost.."
The sun was setting over the horizon and the sky got darker by the second.
George moved a bit closer to Clay his anxiety also rising.
"We should probably go back to school as that's one place we know is close." Said Clay nervously.
They turn around, even tho they don't recognise the place, and start heading in that direction.
The forest didn't end even though they kept walking for 40 minutes. Something was definitely wrong.
