Taehyung stared at the wolf with a racing heart beat. It's growl was low and slightly menacing but It was his mate. For a while he had forgotten all about finding his significant other while traveling with Hyunjin, now, he had found him without trying, Ignoring the other scents, assuming his mate was aware and knew of their presence, Taehyung began to slowly stand up correctly, his eyes still on the eyes of the others red eyes. His grip still tight on Hyunjin, who was slightly stirring, he was starting to detect new scents.

After what seemed like an eternity, the wolf stepped out from behind the bush, and the sight left Taehyung breathless, the wolf was beautiful, it's all black fur seemed so smooth and it's red eyes, an alpha, this put  Taehyung in a trance, but one thing caught Taehyungs eyes.

Blood.

It's was barely visible, but it was there, dry on the wolf's snout and neck, suddenly flashback of his old back came rushing back to Taehyung, his mind grew hazy, this wolf, his mate, had been there when his pack was attacked, the children, Taehyung remembered, the bodies of the innocent pups laying in pools of their own blood, some bodies no longer in one piece. Taehyung grew scared, and his instincts went into overdrive.

  Suddenly setting aside the fact that the wolf was his mate, he crouched down again in a protective stance and let out a low growl to stay away, his brown eyes now a dark blue. If this animal was the one that ended the lives of innocent children, he would not let it near his baby, not at all.

  Seemingly taken aback, the wolf shifted slightly back, until it growled again, this time, it sounded more dangerous and Taehyungs hair on the back of his head and arms began to stand. If push come to shove he would not last long in a fight with an alpha, and he had to be cautious of the other scents, they hadn't shown themselves yet but he knew they were close, it must be his mates pack.

Taehyung slowly took a step back, but stopped when the black wolf growled again, Hyunjin whines and the black wolfs eyes landed on Taehyungs arms, said male noticed this and let out a short growl.

  Now, usually omegas never 'disrespect' an alpha by challenging them, but there have been many times when alphas try to harm an omegas child and it doesn't end well on either side.

The black wolf huffed angrily, as if it was a child not getting what he wanted, and Taehyung would've thought it was cute if he was feeling threatened by its presence. The wolf looked at Taehyung a gave him a look as if saying 'stay put' which utterly confused Taehyung, 'staying put' was the last thing he wanted to do. He watched the wolf slowly retreat behind the bush, Taehyung almost whined at the thought of his mate leaving, even if the situation wasn't in his favor. After a few moments he heard footsteps from behind the bush and his heart began to race even faster. His breath hitched when he saw a gorgeous male stand before a few meters away. He was in grey joggers and shirtless. The male was tall, black hair and his face was sharp, His upper body was covered in tattoos and his body was built.

  After not-so-obviously checking out his mate, Taehyung looked at the Alphas eyes, and oh, he could melt in those eyes, they resembled gold, with a slight red in the center, his mate took a step closer to Taehyung and once again he growled, letting the alpha know to keep his distance.
