Bunny's POV
"Doggy? Where's Milly?"

Doggy looked up at me. "She said she was tired, so she turned in for the night."

I place the sticks I've gathered next to the fire and sat down a few meters away from Doggy.

I sat there for a while staring at the dancing fire. I look towards Doggy to see he's using a stick poking around in the edges of the fire.

I can't stand the awkwardness between us. What should I say? What should I do?

"H-hey, Bunny?" He suddenly spoke up. "Mmh?". "What happened to your left eye?"

Doggy's POV
Bunny was quiet for a few seconds. Was that too personal? Bunny stared into the fire, her expression frowned. OH NO! What have I've done?!

"I-If it's too personal, I understand. I was just curious that's all." I raised my paws in surrender. She looked at me, managing a smile. "It's fine, Doggy."

Bunny took a breath, and she started her story. "I was with Mr.P as we were in the hospital looking for a cure for the infection. Unfortunately, the doctor there came in contact with the potion. And he starts to attack."

I looked at her with pure shock. Was she one of the researchers? And working with that freaking potato? She looked at me, I can see the hurt and sadness in her eyes.

"And the one the doctor attacked, was-" She paused, and let out a sigh. "Me."

"Mr.P tried to help me with another one of his potions. But as thought, it didn't work."

"I'm sorry to hear that, Bunny." That was all I manage to say. "I know Mr.P didn't mean any harm to anyone. He was just trying to save his wife."

Shoot! Mrs. P! I forgot we haven't tracked her down yet! From what cadet got from Mr.P, he said that his wife drank the potion that the piggy family had. Which is not a good sign. We did manage to cure everyone, but we assumed Mrs. P was gone. But I doubt that.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a cute yawn escaping Bunny's mouth. She blushed and covered her mouth. I chuckled "Something tells me your getting tired." Bunny giggled. "Yeah..."

She stood up and made her way to her tent. Before she stepped inside, she turns to face me. "Good night, Doggy." With that, she went in and zipped the tent shut.

Bunny's POV
I zipped my tent close and held my breath for a few seconds before letting it all out. It's a good thing I didn't face him entirely or he could be seen the blood that was rushing up to my face.
Why in heck's world would I feel like this?! What is happening to me?!

I laid down on my sleeping bag. After letting out another sigh, I slowly closed my eyes and went off to dreamland.
