*they are native to South America, specifically in Columbia & Ecuador mainly 

*frogs are a great indicator species and that means that their population can show how well an environment is thriving

*if water quality of an ecosystem is good, then the frog populations will thrive 

*glass frogs are vital in helping to control the insect population 

*glass frogs are small and go up to 3 inches at most (7.6 cm)

*males will often guard and watch over the eggs 

*eggs are often laid on the underside of leaves
