           A YEAR HAD passed and I'm in my 5th grade. Since that incident happened, I tried my very best to avoid that loud nuisance. Tiniis kong hindi bumisita sa bahay nila Yavin pati na rin kila Maggie para hindi magtagpo ang mga landas namin but Kait was true to her words. Hindi lumilipas ang isang araw na hindi ako iniinis ng Jadrien na 'yon.

Ako na nga 'tong layo ng layo pero siya naman 'tong lapit ng lapit sa'kin sa tuwing nasa campus kami. I don't know where he gets the guts to piss me off knowing I'm older than him. I'm two years older than him for pete's sake! Kahit katiting man lang na respeto wala siyang pinapakita sa'kin. Kainis!

He always had mischievous schemes under his sleeves. One of them is to untie my perfectly tied pigtail all the time. Hindi ko alam kung anong makukuha niya sa pagtanggal ng tali ko. Sasabihin niya pa sa'king hindi iyon bagay sa'kin. I don't believe him anyways because the people around me says otherwise.

Kaya talaga kapag nakatali buhok ko halos magtago ako sa mga tagong lugar dito sa Del Valle University dahil ayoko namang masayang ang effort ko sa pag-aayos sa aking sarili. Ngunit ewan ko ba kung may inuutusan siyang magbantay sa bawat kilos ko dahil kahit na nasa pinakatagong lugar na ko ng DVU na mamataan niya pa rin ako!

There was even a time where I wanted to change schools just to get away from him. Hindi ko na kinakaya ang mga ginagawa niyang panggugulo sa tahimik kong buhay. Ngunit pinigilan ako ni Kuya York at Yusef. They promised me that they'll stay by my side every time we're inside the campus. Nangako rin sakin sila Yavin at Colin na pagsasabihan nila si Jadrien wag lang akong umalis.

Nakampante naman ako sa mga sinabi nila sa'kin kaya hindi ko na tinuloy. But that nuisance never listens to anyone. Hindi niya ako tinantanan at sa tuwing hindi ko kasama si Kuya York at Yusef dahil may klase sila doon niya ko guguluhin.

Pinabayaan ko na lang pero kapag hindi ko na kinakaya pinapatulan ko na rin. Laking gulat ko nga na hindi ako naga guidance dahil sa halos araw-araw naming pag-aaway. The connections he has because BI's family owns DVU, and Damon's dad is the dean. Kaya ang lakas ng loob mang bwisit dahil kahit anong gawin niya hindi naman siya mapapahamak.

"Hey, Ken. Did Jadrien bother you again?" Yusef snapped me out of my reverie when he sat at the seat across me here in the reader's sanctuary.

I titled my head and smiled as I slightly shook my head. "Nope. Buti nga wala pa siyang ginagawa sa'kin ngayong araw dahil hindi ko alam kung anong magagawa ko sa kanya."

I'm so stressed due to my pending quizzes for the afternoon. Sunod sunod na tatlong subject ang may quiz kami ngayong araw dahil malapit na ang quarterly assessment. Kaya nagkalat sa lamesa namin ngayon ang mga libro at reviewer ko.

His brows furrowed as he looked at me like he wasn't buying what I said. "It doesn't seem like it. I was watching you a minute before I approached you and you held your pen like you were ready to stab someone."

My eyes widened as my mouth gaped. "I did that?" I asked, shock filled my eyes.

He nodded and beamed. "Don't think about him, Ken. He's not worth thinking about. Kung hindi nyo lang pinsan 'yong kambal na Del Valle baka na suntok ko na 'yong Jadrien na 'yon." Yusef sighed, frustrated.

I was touched with what he said. Yusef is my closest guy cousin. Magkaugali sila ni Kuya York kaya siguro malapit ang loob ko sa kanya. Sa kanya ko nakwe kwento ang mga bagay na ayaw kong ikwento kay Kuya at Kendall.

Yusef is the type of person that will listen to your wimps and will never judge you. He'll just silently listen without giving his own sentiments. Sometimes we need that one person who'll just listen to all our rants.
