Bullied

Chapter One

Lex POV:

"Lex! Get the fuck down here! It's time for school!" My brother, Dom called out.

Dominic and I are two years apart. Our mother died a year ago and Dom my legal guardian, only because it was her dying wish.

"Didn't you hear me!" He yelled.

I sighed and walked downstairs.

"What the hell took you so long?" He asked, hatefully. "I'm sorry." I said quietly and walked out to his truck.

When we got to the front doors of the school, Dom's group of friends were waiting.

All of them glared at me, but Adrien. He gave me his normal breath taking smile.

"You know, you could walk once in a while. You need the exorcise." Clark, one of Dom's friends said.

"Dude, what the fuck is wrong with you?" Adrien asked him. "What? She obviously needs to lose a little weight." Clark replied. "No she doesn't." Adrien growled.

I wasn't fat. I knew that but Clark had always made me feel that way.

Adrien though, he made me feel beautiful. He was the only reason that I was able to handle all the bullying that the group put me through.

"Why do you always take up for her?" Dominic asked. "Because her brother refuses to." Adrien said and stormed off.

I sighed and walked to my locker, getting my books for my first period.

"Hey." Adrien said when he caught up to me.

I looked at him and saw the soft smile he always gave me that always had me smiling back.

"You okay?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for earlier." I said softly.

Adrien always made me nervous. Butterflies always erupted in my stomach.

"Can I ask you something?" I asked. "You just did." He laughed.

I smiled and rolled my eyes.

"You know what I mean." I said. "Shoot." He replied. "Why do you hang out with them?" I asked.

Adrien's gaze softened as he look straight into my eyes.

"I have my reasons." He said. "Yeah? What would those be?" I asked.

"Maybe one day, I'll tell you." He said before walking away.

What did he mean by that?

"Someone's in love." I heard my best friend, Savannah's voice behind me.

I turned and looked at her.

"Who would that be?" I asked. "You, dumb ass." She said and laughed.

I shook my head and laughed along with her.

"Fuck off." I replied as we walked to class.

"Nah, you'd miss me too much." She said and winked at me.

I thought up this story line this morning and had to write it down so I didn't lose it. This will be the only chapter until Marley is completed so I can get some feedback on the chapter and see if y'all want me to continue so let me know. Love you guys.
